Also anonymity removes credibility from the blogger. Anonymous blogging is not the way forward; protecting the right of free-speech is the correct way to go.
If someone does post bullshit. So what? they just risk their own reputation when they are exposed.
I agree, god forbid if anyone should ever discover my email address. It's not like I post in on/. or usenet or anything.
The whole point of having an email address is for people to contact you. If you have a good filter spam is a small price to pay for the massive convenience. I do protect my phone # allot more because I don't always want to be disturbed unless it's important. Email is patient and waits until I get to it.
Greenpeace are a bunch of pseudo-scientific frauds. They are fanatical fundamentalist tree huggers, facts aren't about to get in the way of their greenie dreams.
I have seen scammers in my own city selling fake cancer cures. The victim turning down real treatments in exchange for magic often loses their life as well as their money and the authorities are powerless to do anything about it. Use the word "Faith" and you have 100% legal immunity, doesn't matter how many victims you kill.
People are killed by frauds all the time. Far more often than people like to believe, and it's happening in western countries.
Google could just say. "You want hits? You got hits?" then redirect every second visitor to them. I think the complaining website would go away very quickly.
Were I live it costs more to register a heavy vehicle than it does to register a car. Also all trailers need to be registered and they are done by class also. With a tax on fuel, the more you drive the more you pay. Seems like they have it well covered already.
I once told some "techs" at a computer store that I was running Windows version 6.1 it only confuses them. Needless to say I lost all faith in computer stores
There is no doubt that SMS became popular because it was the only system available at the time. Plus all/most phones have had it for well over 10-15 years and all you need is the persons phone number. Good for the primitive address books of the time (name and number only; stored on sim card).
I think the rise of Android and iOS will see an uptake of email inplace of SMS, but SMS will never be lost.
I do use email on my phone, but I wouldn't bother trying to make it work with SMS. Just two totally different systems.
I always see plans with unlimited data to Facebook, myspace and twitter. Sometimes carriers provide "unlimited email" which is useless to me because they only provide that to their email service, not to my own email server. It's just an attempt to drive people towards popular services and I'm sure it's very effective on the average consumer. But give me a normal data plan any day.
Because satellites are invisible from the ground, right?
People are entitled to know the truth about your criminal behaviour. Whether you like it or not.

I am convinced that sometime in the future Star Wars will be mistaken for a documentary.

It's only a matter of time until people start searching for middle earth.
It's certainly the reason I encourage people to switch to piracy. Right or Wrong it just makes sense.

Not when you get shoddy media outlets keen to cash in on some scaremongering.

Don't forget Australia, we aren't going down without a fight. If we lose we will join China with our own firewall.
However they will still have to pay to register the vehicle, and that will depend on the weight.
So, give Google the evidence. I think I'll pass.
No the industry is smart. There is allot of money to be made in litigation.
In otherwords just build a cafe.
I thought a professional was just someone who spent their mornings in the cafe reading a paper.

Interesting, I will have to keep a close eye on that. Be wary of any government that want's to monitor it's citizens private conversations.

It's the same with Windows "7". Did someone lose count?
Or you can use Skype, so neither government or anyone else can access your messages.
Since when have you ever needed to install an application to use email?
What smart phones don't have email as a standard feature?
