Actually no...Android is here to stay and won't move away from Java and Oracle knows that very well. So they're trying to have their cake (Java made more popular by way of Android dev) and eat it too (grab lots of monies from Google for using Java in that manner).
...my first job was as a sys-admin for a small office, the boss had me install VNC to all company machines, mainly laptops for the sales folk, office manager etc. He would actually monitor them himself from time to time (while his office was 4m away).
I protested but my warnings went unheeded, of course for some weird reason VNC "didn't work" on my machine.;)
It goes without saying that I got the hell out of there first chance I got and everyone else slowly followed.
So you're saying that it either was or wasn't a joke but if it was it'd be funny but since it may not be it's not funny. Do I even need a punchline here?
...what Minecraft is, can someone explain why that calc is an accomplishment?
What's the difficulty of doing something like that? What elements do you have available? Do you have logic-gates, math functions, full-blown scripting, or what?
...the summary said so, he's only about a month away from the elections. That's just an easy way to get people to remember your name.
What he proposed isn't going to happen of course.
Ok I'm not usually the guy who starts spewing out conspiracy theories and the like but...does anyone else feel like "the man" (pardon the expression) is grooming the next generation to be mindless, imbecilic, non-critical drones?
It's like they keep trying to mentally disarm the kids to ensure future complacency and then they have the audacity to frame it as protection.
I know, I know, don't attribute to malice what can easily be explained by stupidity but this one would require a hell of a lot of stupidity.
...and say that I do the exact opposite.
I've no set hours, no routine, no dedicated space, I play guitar when I'm blocked and have a movie or TV series playing all the time to provide a distraction (for some reason not multitasking doesn't work for me).
So what I'm trying to say is that this is completely subjective, just do what feels natural.
The most important thing is to be passionate about the projects you pick up, if you are then never mind staying focused, you'll go into overtime without even realising it.
Oh for f's sake someone asks a question regarding cell coverage and you reply with "Why bring a cell phone? I wouldn't!". Have you, by any chance, got any more personal, unsolicited and irrelevant life lessons for the rest of us simpletons? How will we ever survive without your offtopic input...
The first one more often than not is a symptom of something else and the second one can cause long term problems if not treated properly. Of course you should get professional advice for both. I'm of course not talking about a simple cough here but if you start spewing brownish stuff then it's time to visit a doctor.
How does Zynga even know this 16 year old exists? Is his resume on linked in or something?
Seems like the parents are pushing this kid kinda hard to begin with... Why would you even try and send a 16 year old into a program designed for college students?
Take a deep breath. Slow down. Relax.
Why should he?
I was that kid a few years ago and writing code was (and still is) genuine fun to me.
Admittedly, nowadays I'm not fond of working at mega-corps but if I could get a Google intern-ship at 16 that'd probably be the most fun and interesting period of my life.
(That may sound pathetic to some but pleasure is subjective...)
For my money, if someone willingly enters into a fight he has accepted all risks.
And if I happen to be involved in an altercation and someone comes running and pepper-sprays me then hurting him becomes justified self-defence.
Ghostery sees the invisible web - tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons. Ghostery tracks the trackers and gives you a roll-call of the ad networks, behavioral data providers, web publishers, and other companies interested in your activity.
After showing you who's tracking you, Ghostery also gives you a chance to learn more about each company it identifies. How they describe themselves, a link to their privacy policies, and a sampling of pages where we've found them are just a click away.
Ghostery allows you to block scripts from companies that you don't trust, delete local shared objects, and even block images and
iframes. Ghostery puts your web privacy back in your hands.

I don't remember much to be honest (like protocols etc) but I remember it from a forensics class I took.
The only surprising thing here is that they allow access to that circuitry via the normal device ports.

That would be completely worth the development effort.

Irrispective of who wrote it I think that it was meant as a joke, which I personally found funny and lol'ed a bit. My my so touchy....

they added a few anomaly detection IDSs and decided to implement proper access control. Shouldn't they be doing that from the get go?
I could be oversimplifying this though...

Heh...funny...seems to apply beautifully to your response's (and your) attitude.

Good luck man.
Erm...there's plenty of F/OSS software that can prove you completely wrong.

Hello pot! Meet kettle. :)
Every night huh? Do you spend your 350k on anything else or just them?
Oh yeah certainly go with that!

Which is why I avoid violence in general...

They're interested in content rather than b/w utilisation. I suggest you RTFA...no-matter how preposterous it may sound.
