I gotta say, just based on personal experience here, that the outlook for this project doesn't look good. The last underground science facility I worked at over in Raccoon City just didn't work out in the long run.

As far as schools go, it should be on their shoulders to filter what their students should or should not be able to view. This is the concept of gun control all over again - it hurts the honest man, as lawbreakers will easily find a way to circumvent it.

...and let me tell you something about planning here. For the last 30 years they've been "planning" a system of rail transport on Oahu, and it simply hasn't come to pass. A lot of development projects here are simply shut down because many of the locals are very adverse to change. Even projects like these that have good environmental impacts at face value will require a ton of development. Behind that development will be an equal amount of litigation just to get the permits.
I'm not one to try and sound negative, but it will never happen in Hawaii outside of Waikiki (a lot of development happens there in order to help boost tourism).

If you have a look through their "things needing screenshots" section, you'll notice that it's full of libs, many of which have no interface at all. That being the case, why are they there? Seems to me like all the data here needs some garbage collection and more rigid guidelines.

It's not just for internet connectivity purposes. The range of addresses used by IPv6 is broad enough that everyday objects can be identified with an IPv6 address for indexing and tracking purposes.

Let's say Wallmart is selling a lawn furniture set, and each one has a unique IPv6 address. Suddenly, keeping track of the stock is immensely easier. Need to know if the furniture set that the person returned was really the one that he bought from Wallmart? No worries, just scan the IPv6 chip in it. An employee has a garden gnome that looks suspiciously like the one that disappeared from the store a few weeks ago? Scan it and find out.
