Well, having used the built in 'droid security support for the fingerprint reader on my atrix, all I need to do is enter a pin number (that can be user set) to access it anyway.
Indeed, I have mine right here and the button to bring it out of sleep is the fingerprint reader. Very nifty and no more smudge-pattern on a screen from the 'security swipe', which anyone can guess in about three tries by following that smudge-pattern.
No one has suggested this? Get yourself a wow account, huddle up in a basement somewhere and blow your year on a terrible addiction. Then you will not need your extra letters on your name, you will have a bloodelf that will do you proud!
Luxury. I have my screen, with an atomic random pulse generator, rotating my screen in a random direction every 2 seconds. They not only have to guess the correct orientation, but they have to continue guessing it right. Also, I limit my novel series writing to 5 words per minute to enhance this level of security even further.
On a serious note, I help run an old 'MUCK' style game. We get about 5 bots an hour hit up EVERY open port with attempts to login with 'admin' 'password' or 'root' 'password'. Do router/system makers really suck that badly that this is worth doing?
Another +1, I am cheap though, I only have the 24" versions (one older one with a cold cathode backlight and one newer, LED backlit). 2x good screens are absolutely wonderful to code on.
The fact it doesn't slip around. That your mouse tracks well on it. That your mouse slides over it with less friction. That it is the 'right size' for your gaming habits.
Pulling up firebug, we can see the stats update is a constant swarm of data in the form: [[{"product": "thqbundle", "_timestamp": 1354300639, "stats": {"rawtotal": 2367272.1873848438, "goodwill": null, "numberofcontributions": {"windows": 370102, "mac": 30179, "total": 416354.0, "android": 0, "linux": 10563}, "rawplatformtotals": {"windows": 2076567.8200000001, "mac": 188377.39999999999, "android": 0.0, "linux": 72808.139999999999}}}],"13543006391584274"]

An educated guess takes the latter as the actual cash amounts, so the number of Linux-credited payments is 10563, 2.53% of the total.
We see that on average windows-based people spend $5.61 on the game but linux people $6.89. Of course these 'linux people' like yourself can only use the game on a windows box, but still, always good to see the numbers behind what is going on. (Also had some interesting looks at the PubNub system that is the backend for these stats. Very interesting system)
Outfit as one of the 'power line inspection' vans. You can drive nice and slow everywhere and potentially stop for hours at a time. Just get out and look up every hour or two, pad in hand, making notes.
I bring up the Apple UK site and I see the message without scrolling. In fact, I see the whole site without scrolling. Maybe it is time for people to get rid of their 1024x768 monitors and get something with a real resolution?
Uh, call me crazy, but I just checked the manager in firefox and steam links are set to 'ask first'. I tested, got a popup asking me if I want to run the link with application 'Steam'... unless it was something I wanted, I would generally click 'no'.
They could just arrange a deathmatch game of Q3 arena, with all the applicants for a gTLD allowed to choose one entrant who MUST have been a company employee for at least a year, and the first to twenty frags gets it...
All correct. The only gun mentioned by police was a shotgun kept in a safe, separate from it's ammunition (as by NZ law).
The search warrant has already been written off as illegal by the judge, basically the judge is trying to find out just how badly the police screwed up now, the fact they went in like this 'in case he tried to destroy the evidence on his servers' despite the FBI having locked down and copied them previous to this date, is the suspicious bit.
I would like to welcome the marketing department of ThinkPenguin (C)(TM) to slashdot.
Revolution? Sounds like terrorist words. Better get you under surveillance so we can... oh wait, no need, you already were.
Just another regular Joe railing at 'freedom'? Look, we will let you off with a warning, this time.
By small I mean under a C cup. Apparently aussie lawmakers like their bewbs big!
I for one can't wait until the Aussie government get in on this. Women with small breasts will be flagged and, as you said, drawings too.
It is a good effort, but the world is really becoming just a little too fucked up to start trying to stop things now.
Still don't know what it is, I can only assume it is 'Big Beautiful Men' (The counter of BBW).
In that case, uh, pass?

He didn't, the bankruptcy was overturned.
Made from plastic that, like your toilet seat, resists germs. Waterproof. Extra paper dispenser (as a backup for when the main roll is empty).

Geek card hand-in time!

Have you tried opening a big file in notepad? It is not all that safe.
I will ask the inevitable questions, as a system builder.
How many parts were DOA?
How many failed inside of the first month?

Yeah, and when I get thousands of popups to execute steam links, I will just close the tab and send a report to google that it is an attack site...

Not a very good exploit, imho.

This is why we can't have nice things.
It was tough.
My hand was sore as hell afterward and I was left feeling a little confused.
But your post can now be considered objectionable. /spent
1.85% is pretty terrible.

I use one of these, close it every 4mths and bring the balance forward into a new one, means I have 5% with no minimum.

Why was this done if not to terrorize him?
