  1. Only 400mg ibuprofen? on Strip-Search Case Tests Limits of 4th Amendment · · Score: 0

I used to carry 1200 mg ibuprofen back in the day when I had "stress induced headaches." When I got caught with it, they just said "Get a note from your doctor to bring this on campus." This was Los Angeles Unified School Disctrict - They find any reason to expell you from school. From the Artical:'Lawyers for the school district said in a brief that it was âoeon the front lines of a decades-long struggle against drug abuse among students.â Abuse of prescription and over-the-counter medications is on the rise among 12- and 13-year-olds, the brief said, citing data from the Office of National Drug Control Policy.' Srsly? What do you get when you take tons of ibuprofen? Last time I checked, just a damaged liver.

  2. Nobody is talking about unlimited plans... on What Carriers Don't Want You To Know About Texting · · Score: 0

I'm currently on T-Mobile, paying about $80/month. I get: 300 Minutes (unlimited Night/Weekend/Fave 5) Unlimited Text Unlimited MMS Unlimited Web usage Insurance on my phone. I hear people keep complaining about the price of the single text message. Either block text messaging through your service provider (its a really quick 5 minute phone call to make sure you cant send or receive texts), or get an unlimited plan. I do agree that the price of text messaging is too high to begin with >.>

You know, the split between work made for Bemani games and real released tracks is about a 50/50 split. What most people don't realize is that alot of these groups you see in the game are actually obscure Japanese groups. Like B4U (responsible for alot of GF/DM tracks) is actually a girl punk rock band in Japan.

Then they also have people like Gackt, Malice Mizer, Sex Machineguns, and other popular J-Rock groups coming in for tracks. As for the Naoki comment - He does a bit of solo work as well. Just like DJ Taka, TaQ, and a few other regulars. They just get contracted to make music for them.

  4. Re:Am I alone? on Street Fighter HD Remix Launches With Fan-Made Soundtrack · · Score: 0

I have to say I still never liked SF2. Not really my game, and neither is HD Remix. As for the best 2D fighting games? Arc Systems Works. BlazBlue and Guilty Gear series rules.

  5. Wow, I thought it was going to be bad... on FCC Approves iPhone · · Score: 0, Troll

But not this bad. No EDGE or UMTS support? Only low end phones that are coming out for Cingular/AT&T have no EDGE/UMTS support. The way I look at this phone is a glorified HTC 8525, sans slide out keyboard. But even then, the 8525 atleast uses the faster EDGE connection.

Haha, man. My 1988 CRX Si-R has over 250k Miles on the chassie, and its still running strong. Then again, I have blow about 6 motors since I bought the car. For some reason, engines dont like an R/S Ratio of 1:1.52. But hell, the compression is nice. And about the artical: Im running a semi-old engine in my car now (1995 Honda B18B [Integra LS] Motor) with VTEC added. Im getting about 35mpg if I drive it conservitively, and about 20 when racing. That is exactly why Ill stay with my old Hondas: They're fast and cheap to run. Also: My girlfriends 1992 Integra LS is running about 150k Miles on it right now as well, still in perfect condition.

Man, I was drifting WAY before I started watching/paying Initial D. If anything, those kinds of games teach me that driving reclessly causes lower times in Time Attack - Last thing I want. That, and in the canyons, even those guard rails cant save you. Id prefer NOT to die in a 4000' drop off an edge. My roll cage wouldnt even help me then >.

Yeah, I do have a myspace, and yeah, I have met quite a few friends off of there in real life. Mostly its because I have an off taste in music (Electro-Industrial and EBM), and meeting people at clubs is really a horrible experiance when you cant hear someone when they are screaming into your ear. That, and when all your friends have a Helio, it saves minutes using Myspace Mobile back and forth.

  9. Just my rant as a retailer - on Consumer Reports: Cingular, Sprint Bad Performers · · Score: 1

    1) BARS DO NOT MEAN SERVICE STRENGTH: Every carrier uses a different algorythm to determine signal strength. I can have no bars and make a perfect call, yet have full bars, and fail a call. This came right out of a Sprint Corperate. 2) T-MOBILE PRICING: To those who dont know, T-Mobile (atleast in the LA/Pac Bell regions) are using Cingulars old 32-bit towers (Cingular is currently in the upgrade process to eliminate TDMA service and switch everyone over to the new 64-bit UMTS/GSM Towers). 3) CIGNULAR SERVICE: Read above, they are in the middle of massive upgrades. Give them some time, and things will get better. 4) CDMA CARRIERS: Sprint will always have the best coverage area. SPrint lets you roam on other networks for free (including Verizon), where as Verizon only lets you use their network. Think about it.
