She also inferred that if he got up and attacked her, the mostly white male crowd would have done nothing to protect her. She still honestly believes what she FELT was a legitimate reason to ruin a person's life. She said directly that she knew exactly what she was doing when she took the picture, she goes on to say that because he had the temerity to complain about what she did, he is responsible for the trolls that go after her. She is a very sick person.
Only becasue Hotmail was an acquisition and it took a bit of time and a few tries to get it to run on NT. They tried to switch over almost immediately after purchase.
You dont compare sigs. You are just looking to see if the INFORMATION matches (name, etc). ANY mark i put on paper and declare as my signature is my legal signature and it can vary wildly. I dont have to consistently give the same signature for it to be considered legal.
The only people this helps is the banks. Its SLIGHTLY more secure. IM not convinced that the extra BS that goes along with it (all new readers everywhere, new methods, and retraining are worth the moderate bump in security for the CC company.
Precisely this. Im 41 years old living in a condo because i cant afford a home. Cant even change my own oil in my carport, have nowhere to store tools, it goes on and on. I hate having to pay monthly for makerspace access but its better than nothing.
If he acted like Lincoln, he would have shared his fate much sooner. Lincoln is NOT who we want as a President again. It was only by chance that what he did actually worked and his means were absolutely abhorrent.
You are arguing security through obscurity. I get what you are saying, but adding friction will only annoy a motivated actor, it wont stop them. The question becomes, how much friction are you willing to place on the system to stop that?
It doesn't matter WHY. If the information is publicly available, then its legal. The private lives of people who decide life and death MOST CERTAINLY should be available for review. IF you are going to wield that kind of power, you don't get to hide.
If the government can do it without authorization or true legal justification, why cant the citizenry? As someone said above, they have set the standard that all private information is accessible, why should we deny ourselves this power?
If you are going to decide life and death, your privacy is not the same as the average citizen's. Judges should be closely monitored. Hell we should be tapping their lines as a matter of course.
The 1800s. Seriously, if the Sherriff or judge got out of control of a community, they took them out with force if necessary. I truly believe that this is missing from modern society. The ability for the local populace to revolt and replace as necessary.
To be fair, MS DOES NOT make it clear the ramifications of switching to an MS account versus local. This is FULLY MS's fault for trying to eliminate local accounts via obfuscation and pressure.
Torrent is a PROTOCOL. Your go-to examples are FTP, HTTP etc. Torrent is already a legitimate source of data, it doesn't need help. Blizzard uses it, practically all Linux distros use it, no one can say it doesn't have legitimate use.
IF you are a for-profit, and you use a.org, im not going to do business with you. If you are a government agency and use.com, im going to complain. We set these things up for a reason, and money is not a reason to unset them. I don't care if ICANN let the internet be co-opted.
I had a projector and screen around 2007. Tiny portable Dell DLP leftover from the death of some mortgage company. It was really cool, but gave it up as LCD screens starting approaching 50" and above. Given a choice between projection of any kind or direct view, ill take the direct view every time, even at reduced screen size. Projectors require a pretty contrived setup, its not for everyone.

Gotta love when the court ignores the laws of probability completely.
Not when you consider the cost of new equipment and re-training everyone. Banking is based on TRUST, not ultra hardened security.
You realize the ONLY people this helps is the banks.

Im glad you look at shooting million-dollar missiles as a no-cost scenario. Thank you for wasting my tax dollars.
Dont like the 2nd? Convene a Constitutional Convention and change it, otherwise please STFU.

This needs to change. No one person should wield that kind of influence. NO ONE should fear the judge, they should only fear the law.

Touche. I have been coming here so long, I forgot.

Stop trying to spend money to get girls to code. The ones that want to will. Spend that money on BOTH genders to promote CS.
Movie industry self-regulates on movie ratings....just sayin

This is true if you only look at consumer TVs. There are plenty of large format monitors (legally not TVs) used in digital signage etc.
