Perhaps a study of the spread of Malware through Google would tell us something about their culture? Their will of course be somewhat disconnected clouds of competing bot swarms.

If you walk into a major grocery store and look for carnation, you'll often find they have a faint scent almost like the roses next to them.
Decades and decades ago, carnations - those flowers you bought in highschool when too cheap for roses - were known to have a *powerful* clove-like fragrance. In fact, they were planted around monasteries in France *because* of that fragrance.
Turns out, the scented oil that gives off the smell we recognize accelerates the deterioration of cut flowers. Especially those shipped from South America. So.....florists bred the fragrance out.
