    You seem to be having particular problems understanding that this isn't about someone's favourite internet feature. It's about Apple saying ALL when they mean PART-OF-A-SUBSET.

    The web is a small subset of the internet and even the whole web isn't supported.

    People universally hate the RIAA - not unreasonable considering the current climate - any support, no matter how 'well disguised' stands-out like a wolf at a sheep-shearing contest.

    I suggest that their PR-dollars would be better spent by trying to compete within their purported area of expertise.

    Nuh-uh. If drugs weren't illegal, the police wouldn't have any reason to harrass 35% of the population and the criminals wouldn't have a lever with which to prevent people from running to the police when abused. That just wouldn't do.

    Well actually the owner would be the county or state. Taxpayers have no property interest in the property of the state or the state's subdivisions.

    What exactly is 'the state' if not an imaginary entity which acts as a proxy for each and every taxpayer?

    That's the way this shit always works. Look at the measures taken to deter PC-game piracy. Only people who've purchased the game are troubled by the need to keep inserting the disc to play. Those who download it for free have had this featurette removed for them. Looks like blatant encouragement to break the rules to me..
