    Well, yes, Wage Slavery is a known phenomenon although there doesn't seem to be a connection between wage-slavery and as you put it "postmortem ownership of a no-longer need part of your remains".

    Legalise it so that poor people will be incentivized to sell their under-appreciated organs and restore the balance.

    One can only speculate whether the sole purpose of the app is to host the exploit, the reporting of which they can use to increase their brand awareness - any press is good press and if you're prepared to pay someone a hundred times what it cost to do the thing yourself in a tenth the time, without leaving your office or walking through the streets looking like a meth-head and then on the return journey, like a soon-to-be-happy meth-head carrying your litre of meth, do you really give a fuck about security ? I propose: "No, you don't."

    Disclaimer, I haven't read the summary, the article (assuming there is one) or looked at the app although I did once try their coffee.

    Yep, cognitively we make general rules then hang a few exceptions on the rule then when the number of exceptions gets too large, we modify the rule.

    On the plus side, I guess if you had to be involved in a collision with another vehicle, an ambulance is probably the best choice - no need to call an ambulance.

    The video quality is similar to those videos where some guy catches a yeti or more similar the Loch Ness Monster 'on video' - even when preconditioned to look for a particular occurrence, and in this case with a large arrow point at a particular spot, it's not possible to determine if the thing actually happened as described.

    Look at this bird? Uhh, it look like a fish to me.

    Upon further re-examination (sic), it could indeed by a fish eating a bird - or a bird-fish shape-shifter :S

    I know, this is how I do it too, but doesnt it strike you as a little crazy to have to install all these *extensions* - not to add optional functionality, but to disable all this insanity that should never have been enabled by default to begin with?

    I know; it's almost as if you've completely misunderstood what *insanity* and *should* mean which has led you to erroneous conclusions.

    javaScript is *useful* - its presence in browsers indicates that on balance, is benefits are considered to outweigh the risks it creates / allows.
