Ironic that you use the word "facts" then later refer to Microsoft as "M$".

Isn't Microsoft (MS) a multi-bilion-trilion-whatever company? If so, what's wrong of using M$ for that?

Bla bla bla. utter garbage talk.

I also talk about the facts "M$ Windows VS GNU/Linux" with my friends. The big difference here is that they are MY FRIENDS so I DO NOT LIE to them.

Trust me, a *easy* way for a successful GNU/Linux propaganda is to talk (and possibly demonstrate) how GNU/Linux rocks when you are virus-cleaning your neighbor's computer at the same time. I don't know about you but I get called for this in a regular basis.

Next time you go on vacations, don't forget to ssh into the box just to refresh the timer or some people will die or think you died.

I really liked OSS4, the kernel level mixing works perfectly with every app (even those who still use the old OSS API).

Establish a openvpn tunnel over UDP. All network traffic tunneled through it, will be encrypted and with integrity ensured. If your wireless network link is too unstable, you will have plenty of dis/re-connections of openvpn but communications going through the tunnel will be intact.

For example, one day I connected home over openvpn and used nfs to transfer a couple of big files over a slow wireless link. After some time going on, I closed my laptop and put it into suspend and moved into another place and connected to another wireless link. After resuming the laptop, openvpn re-established the connection to home and nfs continued to copy the file.
