You really ought to get the hick to move out of your shed and get his own trailer or something. I had a hick live in my garage and I was constantly finding empty beer bottles and he was shooting up all the signs. A hick's living space in no place for a server.

Perform a benefits/loss analysis. If you handle extremely expensive equipment that can't be damaged, then maybe it would be wise to invest a little more into ESD protection. On the otherhand, if you're manufacturing small boards with little value, then don't invest in ESD protection. You said it yourself, that you have NO cases of ESD damaging electronics as long as you've been there. If one part per million gets damaged and it doesn't cost much to replace, then forget about ESD protection.

    3. Sit around and wonder why the world hasn't beaten a path to your door.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to go online prior to doing my laundry to see if any were available. Laundry is a chore. I just want to take my basket of clothes to the laundry room and dump them somewhere and have them magically cleaned. Better yet, I'd rather that my laundry basket cleaned anything left in it more than 5 minutes. I already have a laundry card that I keep next to my detergent, so direct credit card billing adds no value for me. It seems to me, that the whole dotcom economy was about building an internet infrastructure around things that either don't need or aren't ready for an internet infrastructure. IBM's laundry implementation shows a remarkable resemblance to many failed dotcom ideas.

Lately, IBM has made some major good business moves, and now it sounds like they didn't learn anything during the last 3 years.

If you have problems because it is too expensive, then that's a valid concern, but quit saying that they should offer discounts for people who *upgrade*.

You can bet that a bunch of gun toting NRA members would stand by your side if any of the constitution rights were watered down. Their cause is of a great concern to them and they already have a large lobby and many voters.

Don't confuse privacy issues with the constitution, however. Nowhere in the Constitution does it gaurantee a right to privacy. If privacy is your cause, then the NRA might not be a good choice.

My only complaint is that low-light pictures turn out reddish no matter how I adjust the settings. If you want a manual focus that you adjust by rotating a lens barrel, then you won't get that either.
