Personally, it streamlines most of my home computing tasks quite nicely over XP or Vista. Its faster, more responsive and has a couple nice features that both vista and XP lack.
I don't see myself putting it on my netbook, work computer or server any time soon, but it seems to be a step in the right direction for personal use.

"After some disagreement, Williams agreed to pay $20 on the phone bill in order to find the man. But deputies discovered the man just as Williams was preparing to make arrangements for the payment."
Why did it take the police 11 hours to decide to pay the $20 dollar bill? If someones life was likely at stake, $20 out of my own pocket is a pretty small price to pay to locate him.
I think he's mistakenly referring to the router lockup that can be common if you allow your client to open too many connections. Some home routing equipment wont release old connections quickly enough, so a bittorrent client opening a few hundred an hour can cause them to become unresponsive.
I have to agree with the author here, it was quite tasteful. I was turned off by several movies this last year due to liberal application of CG where it wasn't needed, but I never once had that feeling with this movie. I also have to comment on the fact this didn't suffer from the 'prequel' syndrome that Lucas's movies did. The art departments did an excellent job of recreating "period" technology that fit right into the setting.
The graphics alone are amazing (assuming you have a dx10 card and machine to support it).
Sorry, you lost me there. The game has yet to support dx10 at all, so having a card that supports it is irrelevant. Perhaps you were one of the lucky ones who won the hardware lottery and the game actually worked decently. Many of us, despite having top notch rigs, were incapable of getting decent performance regardless of the settings we used.
Your logic is like a half-baked cake. I suppose printing your own copies of books from the library is ok too, cause you aren't paying anything to look at the book anyways right?
The book publishing industry will go the way of the music and movie industries, just a bit slower since reading text on a monitor is still not quite as easy as a real book.
You mean like how the US Music industry is posting profit growth of 4% annually over the last three years? Or perhaps you meant the Movie industry with its 3rd year of growth?
It doesn't heat the air enough, but it will melt sand where the bolt itself travels through it. A human is also a much better conductor than sand, which IIRC means theres going to be less heat produced.
10 year old boys trying to see boobies when they cant get around the parental controls on the family's computer?
Its not a niche market, its every single palm phone except the absolute most recent one. Every single palm sold before June 6th, 2009 is affected.
Yeah, every palm phone EXCEPT the brand new Pre. Sprint still sells at least 2 other palm smart phones IIRC.

Your right, 256MB memory with 768MB virtual. It as 32GB of internal storage. You editors should know better.

Thats a bit more than sensationalism imho.
"It wouldn't launch nukes. It would probably launch neutron bombs"
You aren't an idiot. You are probably just stupid.
Honestly, I think your confusing Houston for Texas. We disowned that shithole years ago.
That sound you hear is 16 armed TSA officers bursting in the bathroom.

No, walmart promo items always end with 88 cents. Unless they are clearance, in which case it will be 50 or 00.
I wish AoC would have had that defect. Could have saved me 27GB of bandwidth patching the stupid thing the first month.

I tried it the first month also, never subbed. Quality and creativity cant be replaced with marketing and budget. This game was proof.

Except its only for consoles, which means the DRM wont be an issue. The summary should specify that it is console only, but it doesn't.
Describing something as "simple" doesn't imply that it is inferior.
In which case the proper word would be indefinitely.
Something that lacks a definable limit is not inherently infinite.

Improbable doesn't mean impossible.
Is this really news, or just another opportunity for us to have everyones favorite slashdot debate?
