Yes you loved her, yes you treated her right in all other ways, but you were not protecting her heart and her soul when both you and her watched the pornography. She was exposed to a world of promiscuity where she no longer viewed you as her only man, when she looked at those other men, she lusted after them, just as you would have lusted after the women. This is not something that creates a stable, loving and protective relationship. You can't possibly believe that you are being true to your partner and expect them to stay when both of you had eyes for others and encouraged this. I'm not an expert, but in this world there are too many pain and strife filled divorces and breakups and abusive relationships that have been born from people's ignorance and lust for pornography. I beleive that was the real cause of the issues in your relationship, just think about it. I hope she does come back to you and your child, a remorseful and changed woman, and when she does, I hope that you will not allow pornography back into your lives as it will only cause pain and destruction upon you. I dont think we can ever pinpoint these psychos entirely, but the best we can do is limit gaming content.
On one hand, I do enjoy a good FPS, but on the other, so does Mr Psycho in the Middle East. Who takes action? Me? Living in a first world country where violence is a minimal thing - I dont think so. Or Mr Psycho in the Middle East where violence is as prevalent as breathing.
I can't see an answer there, shall we ban violence in video games? limit it to people over the age of 18? I dont know.
But why the focus on just violence? Female objectification and even pornography in video games is becoming a more and more prevalent thing. Do we forget the rape statistics and how women are being demeaned and disrespected in this day and age? Are women doomed to be the lesser of the 2 sexes?
