Ah, but dear Philippa has left us, to be replaced by the nice, but not quite so lovely, Julia.
As an aside, has anybody else noticed how Philippa used to get drunker as the series went on? I reckon she was nipping from a hip flask.
IMHO, Ultima IV on the Master System still ranks as one of the best RPGs I've ever played. Dead easy to control, beautifully thought out storylines, massive map, even the spell system worked.
That's it, I'm off down the computer game exchange...
Customer A walks into Amazon, is quoted a price for a DVD, decides it's reasonable, pays it.
Customer B walks into Amazon for the same DVD, in no more or less need than Customer A. Customer B is randomly quoted a price £5 higher.
Can Customer B haggle for 15 minutes with the magic Amazon price creating machine. I think not. This does not happen anywhere but in the exciting new economy.
You seen any of the films? Oh, lordy they're poor. The one about the Lost Secrets of Atlantis (I think, doesn't matter) was especially bad. Started off with Mac' and Brian Blessed (putting in plenty of acting) robbing some grave in Eygpt, then getting trapped in a big hole with bars across the top, up to their necks in rocks. Opening credits; then:
BB: I'll never forget how you got us out of that trap in Cairo, MacGyver, Ho, Ho, Ho!!
Not once was it explain how they escaped.
The film ended with the chamber of secrets collapsing due to the planets aligning (he watched them line up out of a hole in the roof, you could see the surface of Jupitor, for gods sake).
Oh, and the 'Eastern European Military Camp', which was actually Battersea power station.
And 'The London University', which was actually Royal Holloway University.
From my licence demand (I've got one, they just don't a record of it):
A colour licence currently costs £104.00
The tourist rate is currently ~1.50. By my reckoning that gives ~$156. FWIW, I feel this is superb value for 2 national TV networks, a developing digital network, 5 national radio networks, a network of regional radio stations, a worldwide radio network, and one of the finest news gathering services in the world. Just my tuppence.
Unless you're stuck with DACS (?), BT's brilliant method of doubling their prof^H^H^H^Hlines. This allows them to put two lines down the same bit of copper. Knackers your line quality tho. Ask them to improve the quality and you'll be told that they only rate their lines for voice traffic and if you want to transfer data, buy Home Highway (BT's half-assed ISDN system).
Guns don't cause violence, they are just first choice for a person who has one handy and wishes to be lethally violent. In the event that a gun is not handy, I strongly suspect that they'll use a knife or bludgeon rather than give up in frustration.
Guns allow a person to be rapidly and easily lethal from a distance.
The poor cook he caught the fits
Nothing compared to his football commentary, tho. Jesus, who thought a screaming imbecile added anything to the experience.

You can't do that with fingerprints.

Bugger me, that's depressing.
Not one. And it's full of robots.

how many domains do these people want?
It's back in Win2000. But they've re-scaled the end of game animation in sol, the one true test of a computer's useable speed.

But TROLL VAIN SUDS is nearly on-topic.
Bet she didn't send him a page full of porn links though. Pah.

I would have thought that a bc script would be ideal for this.
So why does he only do it when I install something then?
