I've been loving this service. they let you use your own domain as well for free as long as you agree to let others make subdomains off it. They do give you a say in that as well to make sure its not something damaging. Also I think Open WRT supports it.
After I updated my aging Dell to 11.10 it stopped allowing me to use my external display. Basically Nvidia drivers were broke with xorg in the new version. It was fixed but the new drivers do not support my old video card in this laptop. I have been toying with just installing XP on it again because well It Just Works (TM). Honestly my time is more valuable than the effort and hours it will take to either go back to 10.04 or a different distro or even slogging through the internet trying some other fix. I like Ubuntu I run a apache server on a VM on my Win2k8 box (heresy I'm sure). The reason I run 2K8 is because its a game server and more games run in windows than linux that I like to play and host. Also File sharing and AD is just easier honestly. Regardless I like Linux it's just that it's a punch in the dick to do anything. unless you can recite every command line item by heart its always a ton of research to figure out how to set anything up that in windows can be done in a few clicks. Flame me call me a troll what ever it is my honest opinion. Linux has a long way to go and honestly a new distro isn't going to help. Fix what you have don't add feature creep to the point that things that need to be refined get forgotten. Maybe i'm just lazy...
That episode of Tiny Toons with you music I think was one the greatest moments in Warner Bros Cartoons. Surpassing even the Kill the Wabbit mini opera. Would you ever do more collaborations again?
I love the 20/20mb/s service i get with FiOS. My friends leech off my FTP at 1MB/s. and for only 70 USD. I wanted the upload, I could care less about down. I do cheer more competition in these speeds that can only help bring prices down across the board.

Your getting jiped. They are offereing 20/5 service in all the areas they service with FIOS at the price the 15/3 service is. I personally splurged on the 20/20 symetrical service. give them a call its the same price and they won't upgrade you automatically.
From what I understand when Disney aquired Pixar, Mr. Jobs pulled the same thing he did when Apple aquired NeXT. That being the smaller companys Board of Directors usurped the larger company to take a more controling intrest.
In Texas Pedestrians only have the right of way on posted crosswalks. A co-workers kid got naild by a van that wanted to get around a stopped car instead of waiting. The Kid has several hundred grand in medical bills now which are not covered by insurance since the police report puts all the blame on the child not the impatient driver.
How about where peope are offered free pens or t-shirts for thier network passwords. I've read where lots of people were more than willing to give up passwords for swag. That didnt require any lying or scamming.
No idea to tell you the truth. I dont subscribe to FIOS TV or phone only internet. I stoppped watching network TV years ago, and couldn't be happier. I dont even pirate tv or movies. The japanese on the other hand might have a problem with me >.>
As a FIOS customer and a heavy torrent user, I ran into this issue. I fixed it by turning the Actiontec into a passthrough and using my own personal router. the Actiontec now for all purposes is a big ugly modem. The NAT allocation table is something like 90k so after 92 connections it will crap out and it will not accept a new connection for something along the lines of 3 minutes. My DGL-4300 D-link will handles thousands without blinking. Since i have the 15/15 offered in N. Texas I need all the connections i can get for "legit" torrents.
When you choose to live away from civilization, along with all the beifits you also have to live with the compromises. Fresh air no FIOS and such. You win some you lose some not cake and eating it too and all such mess.
Actually Daewoo cars are prime targets. simply becuase finding parts for them is impossible. My aunt has a daewoo and she is terrrified when anything breaks simply becuase its so damn diffucult to find parts. Theives can sell the parts for far more than they could get for the car. Just like the current trend to steal catalitic converts and such.

In North Texas where I live I get 15/15 FiOS and its about 65 a month after taxes and fees.
Of course if it was MS you would have you pitchfork and torch ready. I forget Jobs can do no wrong.
