    "Professor Jane Mt. Pleasant of Cornell University studied the polyculture of corn, pole beans, and squash. She found that these plots grown in the traditional Iroquois way yielded about 25-40 bushels of corn per acre. This compares poorly to the 100-bushels per acre average for modern New York State famers. Then she added the value of the beans and squash from the same plots. The total yield of the three sisters system was 4.02 million calories per acre compared to the 3.44 million calories per acre."

    We plant crops the way we do to make them labor unintensive to harvest. If you knew anything about ecology you would grasp that a monoculture is pretty much never going to take full advantage of a site like polyculture.

    A Prius with a bad traction battery is going NOWHERE. The car doesn't move unless there's a good battery in it.

    Honda IMA cars can go if the batteries are worn out though (and have to often :( ).

    My sister in-law's Rogers phone blocks the installation of Google Voice specifically. She had never heard of it till I showed her my US spec version of the same phone.

    My Neato uses ~330 watts for its vacuum, but does only one pass over most areas in the room.

    Seems to pick up a lot more dirt. Still way less than 1600w though.

    Um, I just checked, and the ingredients on my American milk container says (hilariously enough):

    It's just pasteurized or ultra-pasteurized, which makes it last longer than a couple days.

    Drive a Honda Fit or Ford Fiesta then go drive a Versa/Leaf. Small cars CAN be fun to drive, the Leaf is decidedly not.
