  1. Re:Not around here on Court of Appeals Rejects FCC's Cable Subscriber Cap · · Score: 3, Informative

I know in my area, it's Comcast or satellite for most of the area. We don't have Fios, AND we don't have Uverse in very many areas. There's just not much of a chance.

I know that here at my school, they've made it so you have to do about 20 extra steps to print wirelessly, or you just aren't allowed to do it at all. Either way, it's a pain.

  3. There's a reason that a sequel was not named here on Jackson Slated to Make Hobbit Movie, Sequel · · Score: 1

Jackson said months ago in an article I read (I'll have to go back to find it, I think it was in an interview with IGN) saying that the story of "The Hobbit" wouldn't be able to fit within a two or so hour film, and do the original source material justice. This leads to him saying it would be a pair of films for the hobbit, not one single film. Personally, I think that would be the best move. The story can be complex in spots, and I could see where the story could be split into two films. So, in my opinion, it's either that, or we're looking at one of the other Stories from Middle Earth.

I know some will think of some stupidity for this, but this is one step closer to the optical implants that are shown within the films and series. Yes, I know, it's nowhere near that andvanced. But, discoveries like this could lead to something like that one day. Things are changing all the time.

  6. The one thing I want to know... on Windows Vista Launches To Mixed Reactions · · Score: 1

I hope this doesn't make me sound stupid, but is it still possible to move back to XP if I install Vista and I don't like it? I'm planning on getting it from my University, so I just thought I'd ask.
