It's frustrating how Google refuses to allow extensions to Chrome on Android. Which is too bad, because extensions are kinda a required feature to navigate the web these days.
There's no way they'll resell it to third parties. Between data like this, and a bunch of people voluntarily giving them their DNA, they're going to be the most efficent insurer ever. Efficient meaning never paying out more than they take in from any given client.
Apple currently, and Microsoft (pre-Windows 10), were significantly less evil than Google. Both of those companies want my money, not to invade my privacy.
Blackberry runs QNX, (on BB OS), which has been around for a while and is pretty cool. Windows Phone was a good phone, but never looked at what apps were available.
Symbian, btw, is the "not to play" option. You can get a dumbphone.
How the fuck do you run a program without downloading it? Or is this some marketing bullshit where "downloading" has a different meaning than "installing"?
Like many things, XKCD explains how (and predicts the feature/product a few years in advance.
I've heard people say they are going to "google on bing". Also, I've heard google used as a verb, never bing or yahoo.
You may be right that "search" is a better term, but I doubt you feel the same about the genericization of asprin, cellophane, dry ice, escalators, kerosene, laundrymat, linoleum, thermos, teleprompter, or videotape. But yeah, I'll tell you what. Only call trampolines "rebounding tumblers" and I'll call googling "searching"
So, just to be clear, given the choice between X dollars going to a company ripped you off, or lawyers who are trying to expose it, your attitude is "fuck it, I'm not getting anything."
It's also good to hear all viewpoints before you decide where you stand on an issue.
Bullshit. A lot of views aren't worth listening to. It's not only right, its required due to information processing limits, that we ignore fuckheads. Someone who decides to proclaim their allegiance to something horrific can be dismissed as a fuckhead.
Look, Hitler was a vegetarian. I don't hold that against other vegetarians. But if he was the only example you could find, I would walk around insisting people ate meat.
That is to say, the only thing these assholes can tell me that I cannot hear from a better spokesman is their repugnant agenda.
It's a drug resistant variant of a deadly fungus we've seen before. There have been no deaths from this outbreak, but that doesn't change that the fungus is deadly.
At some point in every Ebola outbreak, there are sick people but no deaths. We still know that Ebola is deadly at that time.
I recently went to a restaurant because of the crowd outside the door. We were walking down a restaurant avenue looking for a place for a bite, and saw one place with a line. We did talk to the people in line, but they sold us on the place. We probably would have stopped elsewhere if there had been no line... the outside wasn't very interesting. Of course, if I always had a line, I wouldn't invest anything in making the outside interesting either.
It helps that we were tourists, and didn't feel like just using Yelp
In general, if a business could afford fewer people, it would have fired them already. Demand is going to go up, not down, as consumers have more money (usually). So, they'll need at least that many people.
Now, there is a point where jobs turn to automation - and raising salaries does change one area of that. But automation has decreased by orders of magnitude more than prices went up to compensate.
Fun story, over the time period they studied, the actual minimum wage went down, once adjusted for inflation.
Oh, you're talking about physical seizability. I'm really not worried about that.. Just grab Tim Cook and some others, and throw them in jail til you get what you want.
Again, it depends. If you are permanently taking the profits of the your projects and growing them, then rising in debt is fine.
And, if you strike out, then you can fall back on bankruptcy. No need to spend the rest of your life working your way out of debt. Bankruptcies leave your credit file after 7 years.
Your actions aren't determined by a democracy. And, for what it's worth, I've trained all my friends not to post pictures of me.
It isn't? You browse with Javascript on? Or without an adblocker? Or accepting hotlinks to any 3rd party site?

Unlike FB, where management is the owners, most publishing organizations are only concerned one quarter in the future.

Friends don't let friends post pictures of them on Facebook.

There's no feature that makes me feel like I need Android O.

This really sounds like it's MasterCard's fuck up then.
Sounds like they need a better system then.

Umm... link please? Cause I haven't found such a thing.
Near me, the premium for such movies is around $4/ticket.
Apparently he and Gates are good friends. I would want my friends to donate to my charity, even if it was less efficient.
If you own all the land that surrounds my house, I have an undeniable right to transverse your property to get to my house. It's the same principle.
The point of a beachfront home is the view and easy access/walk to the beach. A beachfront home doesn't actually own the land in front of it.

Do you think those treasuries are owned by Apple, US division? They're owned by the subsidiaries in the fiscal paradises.
