The scientific plausibility of nuclear decay to vary because of neutrinos is one level below insane.
The standard model predicts nuclear decay with extreme precision, so until someone comes up with a repeatable compelling theory and or experiment that is consistent with the SM and this sort of effect on decay I wouldn't give this much thought.
The article doesn't give much detail. I assume this is part of a clinical trial being done. Otherwise it would seem odd logically or ethically to do this. You can live without a kidney(ies) but a transplant is a major surgery with real risks. Judging by the talk about the theory of the blood born cause it must have been a clinical trial.
If someone here is a surgeon maybe they could explain the ethics involved when approving this type of novel operation?
As others have said NASA didn't make this. And I don't think anyone is saying this is anything but a fun hacking project this guy tried. No organization respectable or otherwise is supporting this.
Its a cool idea as a hacking project but its not going to get much treatment for being that in such a charged topic as climate change.

We totally miss the point when we wonder why money or gold has value.. its nothing to do with money or gold really. Its about people. Gold and money is a promise of value. If that promise doesn't hold is value dies.. hyper inflation.. crashing gold prices.
Since gold is so limited, you dont see much gold crashing. There isnt that much gold at all, its very expensive to mine, many hundreds of dollars an oz. Thats why its price is stable, it cant be flooded onto the market. I guess also you have to say jewlery sucks up the slack supply.
If a new source of gold was found that was much cheaper and vast.. gold would lose its value.
Movies are already in 3d! All pictures are 3d.. they are just from a fixed perspective.. so its transformed into a 2d image. But this is what we see with our eyes anyhow. They just make a forced perspective change.. which is annoying for some people because it doesnt match what our brain expects.. we only expect changes when we move our head. Its the same thing as getting sea sick.
We dumped the 1c and 2c coin about 20 years ago in Australia. Its hard to imagine having that crap in my pocket anymore. I cant be bothered carrying 5c coins as it is! Its just a waste of weight, You try buying something normal with 5c coins!

I think administration means the same thing. The company is no longer running its business. Someone else has been brought in to run things either to fix the problems or bring it into bankruptcy.

The past 100 years hasn't produced any repeatable high quality studies showing any psi effects exist.
If psi was a drug, the results are so terrible there is no way it would ever be considered for use.
But they will continue to go around in circles data mining to find anomalies to study then abandoning that modality once it cant be replicated.
If psi was real, the mechanism would be truely astounding. Physists would really have their work cut out for themselves. Strange they have never seen anything that could possibly support any psi phenomenons:p

The earths circumference is 40,000k. So Half way is 20,000k, speed of light is about 300,000k/s. So in an impossible world you could get a ping of about 66ms to anywhere on earth. Since cables wont ever be so straight.. that would blow out to at least 100ms. With routing and congestion 200ms anywhere in the world sounds pretty resonable as a goal I think.
Maybe its not possible because of many different reasons right now but there is no reason I couldnt be done. 200 is a bit outside what is acceptable for online games. If we got down to 150 that would pretty much be fine.
The ultimate problem that low latency networks face is the speed of light. The earth is rather well sized to make it just ok (for most things we do) though.
I could get crazy and say we could drill straight line pipes through the earth.. but ill leave that for the 2500s.
The US think of the EU as communism/socialism (either term will do because when its used by american politicians it's not based on the actual meaning).

Journals not publishing null results or replications is a widespread problem that many reserches lament.
I've thought for a while that there should be a journal just for replication or null results to be published im. Even if the goverment has to fund it.
