Apparently you've never seen an episode of MASH. That was a running storyline for the entirety of the series. Men pretending to be women has always been considered a disqualifying mental illness.

  4. People are rejected from joining the military every day for "recognized, diagnosed medical conditions". There is no constitutional right to be in the military.

  5. Where in the constitution is your right to force me to pretend that a man dressed up like a woman is a woman?

  6. It doesn't take many qualifications to understand that a man who believes that by cutting off his penis he will become female has a mental disorder. It really is as simple as that.

  7. Because clicks and the new owners are full-on SJW propagandists.

Nice virtue-signal there. If I refuse to pretend that a man dressed up like a woman is actually a woman that doesn't mean I hate them. Just the opposite. I hope they receive mental treatment. Enabling the crazy is not helping anyone.

Diabetes is not a mental disorder. People don't choose to be diabetic.

  10. "are they going to ban all people with chronic diseases too?" Yes, just as they've done since the inception of the military.

  11. That is not true. The vast majority of doctors will tell you that it is indeed a mental disorder (or several mental disorders).

  12. Associating a mental disorder with being black or being born female is not going to help your cause.

  13. Transitioned to what? A male who has his penis removed is still biologically male.

I would argue that by definition all trans are schizophrenic. The suicide rates alone should disqualify them from being in the military.

  17. It's even worse. Besides wiping out local brick-and-morter (far worse than Walm-Mart, which is even being threatened now), states are being decimated by the loss of sales tax revenue.

  21. Re:Email is not being encrypted on The Pentagon Says It Will Start Encrypting Soldiers' Emails Next Year (vice.com) · · Score: 2

It makes perfect sense. In most use cases the only encryption is between the mail client and its server. When you send an email from your client it goes to your server and then to the recipient's mail server (based on the recipients MX record). With STARTTLS the only "secure" connection is between your mail client and your mail server. Your mail server will almost always then send it out to the recipient on their wire in plain text. That's how email works, and has worked for 50 years. TLS is really just an attempt to put that plain-text horse halfway back in the barn. For those arguing that this doesn't matter because the .MIL address space is already contained between .MIL sender and recipient... well, then finally implementing STARTTLS doesn't matter in the first place. Not every recipient has a .MIL address. If a .MIL send to a .GOV then it's leaving that contained network - in plain text - as it will with any other TLD recipient. Disclosure: I manage a few .GOV domains/mailservers.
