There is always such an "underclass" - but they are a very small minority. Just because a few individuals take advantage of the system, it doesn't mean the system should be given up. Having everyone covered by healthcare is a good thing - I am happy that my tax money goes to prevent abominations such as children not having healthcare such as in the USA.
Our doctors are free people that make a decent living.
At the same time, we don't have children that aren't covered by healthcare, which is in fact humane.
Having millions of children without healthcare is inhumane, and I would be ashamed if I lived in such backwards country where that was considered normal.
Well then, Obama should have fucking vetoed a lot of shit. Even if there was an overriding majority, he should have vetoed to show that he's against it.
Not really, the US represents a huge buyer of inexpensive cheap plastic crap from china and would devastate their economy if we stopped trading with them. The US would suffer because we would have to buy locally produced expensive cheap plastic crap, at least until we have had time to ramp up the cheap plastic crap industry at home and solve the unemployment problem.
Someone in the CCP must have seen Jersey Shore, and decided to stop the trend before it's too late.
Invaluable for our lab equipment

In our labs, we have a shit-ton of expensive analytical and other scientific equipment which is controlled by some DOS-based software. We have been installing FreeDOS on replacement computers, and are all deeply grateful for its existence.
The problem with Nokia is that they dont' have any clear vision. The N9 is clearly an example. If I was Elop anything that wasn't Windows Phone or feature phone would've had the axe immediately.
I think that would be a huge, monumental mistake. N9 is selling rather well, while the Lumia devices have, basically, flopped during the holiday season.
It's worse than that, even: Go Daddy even publicly still supports SOPA! It's an post from October, but it's still up, un-edited, so I can only conclude that, when Jones says
That myopic view has never been shared by Go Daddy.
In our view, Internet policy should strive to balance the sometimes competing goals of the global free flow of information (which is clearly critical to U.S. businesses), with enforcement of the rule of law. We don't see those competing goals as mutually exclusive, but rather, complimentary. In fact, that balance is essential to a flourishing, yet safe, Internet.
"we fired N-Control as a client about 8 months ago due to constant shipping delays (which we had to deal with) and their association with Paul Cristoforo who is a street thug masquerading as a self proclaimed "Marketing Professional". This guy is a complete fool and somehow strong armed his way into working with the company so we walked away. I am not surprised in the slightest bit by what's going on right now. In fact, we told the owners of the company on many occasions that this would eventually happen." So the zeal is well directed at the "manufacturers" (actually, branders only, since the controller is manufactured by a contractor in China) of the controller.
Only a psychopath can lie so impudently and so copiously. Also, only a psychopath can use threats (mostly based on lies) so fearlessly of consequences.
This person is the archetype of the Wall Street success.
Don't let laziness prevent you from doing the right thing. In the long run, most of the anti-SOPA registrars offer even cheaper services, so it makes sense even financially, if your ethical sense is underdeveloped.
I think the solution is simple and science-based, but not sure if it will be implemented - because those who have the power now, will never allow for such to be implemented or even mentioned in the media: just filter out psychopaths. There are tests that can catch them, for instance by checking for their lack of fear of impending incident (they don't blink), their complete lack of remorse and ability to lie. Psychopaths are power-hungry and are the people that should NEVER be let close to power. Filter them out, and your will have a working democracy.

I've read the same crap almost verbatim, by other people. Obviously, you guys are parroting someone, but I would like to know whom?
In Finland Internet access indeed is a human right.
But of course, in some 3rd world countries such as the USA, even universal healthcare isn't a human right.

Hope
you like indefinite detention.

Cheap plastic crap such as laptops and tablet computers almost all produced in China in Taiwanese-owned plants
...from the distance of one ocean away, Obama doesn't look all that different from Dubya.

I wonder what percentage of people are directly hostile to the notion of copyrights? I know I am

I am not sure NDAA 2012 is that "subtle".

it's still valid Go Daddy policy.
Between this, Indefinite Detention, and SOPA, I am really struggling to recognize America this month.
Don't forget the torture.
What's indefinite detention without a bit of torture to spice it up?

The manufacturer decided to hire Paul in spite of being warned about him.
I thought the customer showed an almost infinite amount of patience. He came off as a class act. As did Penny Arcade, to be honest.
Yeah, that Paul guy seems like the only douchebag in this whole accident.
You can bold up the first point as well. His repeated, open threats are against the law.
I stopped feeling any remorse when the guy started making threats. Fuck him.
I read the reddit post.

They said they will simply take a less forward stance (less openly pro-SOPA). They definitely did not change course.
Same here. I really like NameCheap, so far.
Indeed, the geeks have spoken.

To me, yes. I dig skinny. It may not be PC, but that's just how my tastes are.
OK, to each their own, and I respect your choices.
No need to post anon.
