  1. Re:As someone who lives in the UK on Newark and the Future of Crime Fighting · · Score: 3, Funny

As someone that lives in the UK as well, the criminals don't even care if the cameras see them, because most of the images are totally useless. Also when they put the cameras in they pulled bobbies off the beat. So now instead of getting mugged and just losing your wallet, they stab you first and pull your wallet because its faster. Thank the lord im moving to the U.S. next month.

  2. Maybe i dont want a 18,000 quid gas bill on Pitfalls of Automated Bill Payment · · Score: 1

yes you read that right, i went on vacation for a month and the gas company had to come out while i was gone to fix a leak, well they broke my line after the meter and let 18,000 pounds worth of gas vent to the atmosphere, then charged me for it.

  3. Titanium on Any Suggestions For a Meaningful Geeky Wedding Band? · · Score: 1

My vote goes for titanium, when me and my wife got married the gold bands for men looked bland and un-inspiring. Titanium on the other hand can have much more exotic designs and you never have to worry about it getting damaged.

my elderly friend wanted a all around pda, organizer, music player, gps, web browser, and I came up with the nokia 810, that thing is simply great, i cant believe i dont have one (yet). Now she carries it everywhere and loves it, she never wanted a computer before (she has one but hardly uses it) now its like she cant be parted with it.

  5. Is it me or did he get royally ripped off on Switching To Solar Power – One Month Later · · Score: 1

I own a commercial building that i installed a 10kW system last year from an online direct retailer and it only cost me ~$50k. I just looked up what a 6kW system from the same people for a residential system costs and its around $32k without rebates. just seems to me like he grossly overpaid for his system.
