It's funny that this has little to do with your power bill since you only oay for the unbalanced load between phases. You can draw 40 amps from phase 1 and 50 amps from phase 2, but only get charged for 10 amps. I don't need google to tell me how to save money on my power bill!

When I have to use windows because of AutoCad, I only used IE in order to get firefox. IE is still there, but I never use it. I think the article needs more data!

What you seem to be asking about is will there be any real and meaningful accountability? I think your questions are very important and relevant! By the time you figure it out, you will have been further blindsided and bullshitted to the point you don't even bother to think this way any more. Also, your strength to stand up will have been sapped to the point that all you care about is trying to focus on how to carve something out of this life for yourself and perhaps your family before you die. To quote one of my favorite movies (fight club): "We are the middle children of history, with no purpose or place. We have no great war, or great depression. The great war is a spiritual war. The great depression is our lives. We were raised by television to believe that we'd be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars -- but we won't. And we're learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed-off." But, sadly my point is that nobody is truly standing up to make those accountable for their actions. Even if you did have the power and position to do anything about "it", what would it matter? To me this isn't about democrats or republicans (except who gets the bigger piece of pie), it's about taking a cruel look at a fucked up economy and realizing the simple truth - which is people live and die and those who are able are going to milk the living for whatever they can get. It's like the matrix, except the machines are the insurance companies who will feed the government. You are a part of a system that they designed and control. You notice how you don't hear about social security much any more? That ought to be a clue! Learn to listen for the things you don't hear. What about the tactics of employers who hire part time or 90 day temporary employees to avoid providing them with insurance? Also, many companies keep part time employees longer than 90 days giving them full time hours which is illegal since they don't make them full time employees - just to avoid paying benefits. It all looks good on paper - toilet paper!

Ventilate or have someone hazwoper certified go in with a scba and retrieve the UPS. Short term exposure to "stinky" levels might not have long term effects.
Sulfur Dioxide. Ventilate, replace or recondition battery. If the egg smell is strong and you quit smelling it, that's olifactory fatigue and lethal levels of the gas exist.
I don't trust anyone to do the right thing. I trust people, juries, governments, etc.... do abuse whatever power is available to them whether it be intentional or through negligence. All I am saying is that he shouldn't have made himself a target unless he wants to be a martyr and follow through with making his point.

He was pissed off that they searched his car - what else did he expect at a border crossing? Did he try to contact someone in the Canadian government because something wasn't right? No! Sounds like he was being an asshole for getting searched - duh! Being pissed off in front of border guards anywhere in the world draws attention and you leave yourself open for whatever.
