    This is not a joke, just a question. What is wrong with the patriot act. Not crazy leftwing ideas but real examples of how this is so bad that any reward in stopping criminal acts is NOT worth the costs.
    I have no opinion on it yet but look forward to reading yours.

    Can you use the DMCA against them? Create a system that only lets local IP's access the servers. Then use some simple crypto to transfer the files. Top it off with in access policy that forbids non-student use. If they access your network, it would then be illegal.

    By reading this you have broken the DMCA as this message is encrypted with the English Language Cypher. I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV.

    I thought Microsoft was God. I know when my computer crashes and I pray that it boots and that my files are saved, I'm not pray to God. I'm praying to Microsoft because thats who is going to get my computer running, not God.

    If MSN want's a better search engine then Google then just make it and let the users judge it. Viewing Google as a competitor from the consumer viewpoint is a mistake. Google is a streamlined efficient search engine while MSN is a hodgepodge of Internet services for the masses.

    Maybe Microsoft is disappointed that google will not have an IPO anytime soon, reducing possibility to easily buy Google and plug it into MSN.

    If Microsoft wants to ensure their long term future they need to improve the server OS's and innovate in client software, not worry about being everything to everyone.

    I checked the packets that brought this story to me and you guessed it they are EVIL. I'm going to the local Christian Bookstore to buy some holy firewall software, I'm then going to ask my priest to bless it. That will stop the EVIL packets from corrupting my computer.
