    Just for kids to do homework and typing general letters and maybe some spreadsheets here and there to help plan things out, yeah that seems the way to go. For the average home use for a "word processor" I can't see $100 of value.

    I fully agree with you, making a billion dollars over night is terrible, absolutely terrible, I sure as hell wouldn't have done that.

    Is there some reasoning why thieves that broke into a building and supposedly made copies of a document(why not just take the actual papers instead of making copies?) would be labeled hackers? The whole thing sounds suspect to me.

    Yes, then ridiculous lawsuit is upheld in lower courts so it is appealed and moves into another court(and another?) before finally being invalidated and thus ensuring as many lawyers as possible profit (sorry for trolling a bit).

    If I had products being banned for having rounded corners I would think at that point the "good guy" in me would be dead and I'd be going after them any way I could.

    If ebay/paypal were to begin stealing money again no contract would validate illegal activity. Does agreeing to a EULA that you will not sue imply ebay/paypal can conduct illegal activities, I'm not a lawyer but I doubt it.

    There are QC people here that use 46" screens to look at prints/models. I bet metro looks great stretched over 4.5feet, and the users would get a great workout reaching all over the place.

    On another note, given the price I'm considering the upgrade on a few PCs of my own, with the registry hack of course.

    I still have two boxes containing most of the first few years of Nintendo Power, now they might start going up in value? My GF keeps telling me to dump them. Sadly I never had the first issue. I have the 25th anniversary issue with Mario in the raccoon suit on the cover and the original matching issue, yeah..

    Besides an annoying UI(that I personally do not like in use with a mouse) and the ability to "frefresh" the file system and maybe a lighter footprint, what is there to gain from windows 8? Anybody that can get past all the GUI BS fill us in?
