Its sad that in a matter of time Goggle will be eat up with the same bloat that has found Yahoo! and Altavista. I use google exclusively but i am afraid its just a matter of time fefore the money issue kicks in and Google is offering your search result in a book form from Babbages. I like the simple "my purpose is to be a search engine approach" that Google has.
Why would you wast your money buying a console gaming system? You could take that money and buy a great PC with the capapbility to play dreacast, PS, PC, freaking Gameboy Advance games if you wnated to... you could hook it up to your stereo and TV and you would be set! It just seems silly. No you don't need a PC for games but name a gaming system you can't play on the PC?
I know there were some talk in the Be comunity of trying to get Loki to port games to Be. Even though I would have picked up both linux and Be copies up it was a lucky move on their part. I have bought serveral Loki games and really hope that the company can pull out of ch.11. I am afraid the damage has been done at least for the time being... this is not good for the companies who are considering porting there games to Linux. But i will continue to give my support.
What good is a mouse that can be run over or flung down 5 stories? where is the computer in all this mess. I mean yeah ok its cool to take out your anger on but its not really usefull.
Ok i admit Brian De Palma is a good director. I would even put him in maybe the top twenty. But no this movie was not directed well. Yes the first scene was cool, 5 min. without an edit is always a quick signature for a De Palma film but there is a diffrence between a good director and a good movie. It looks to me that Brian was doing his typical filming for about the first 20 min and then he turned the camera over to a soap opera director. I mean i love a good sci-fi movie but this one does not cut it! But hey I guess not everyone can be a Bava or an Argento or even Ridley Scott....
If the nice ppl at Mac would spend more time making a quality product instead of making up some stupid law suit ever month...then the world would be a better place.. i mean first the threat made on the theme that had the apple icon in it now the box! i wonder if dairy farmers are going to sue because somone made that cow cover case for there pc ? oooh well just reason 9996 why never to buy a mac "work hard, rock hard, sleep hard, eat hard, grow big and wear glesses if you need them" -Web Wilder
