Sorry to reply to myself, but in addition, the "solar paint" mentioned in my link is nothing new, the invention was being able to make the paint water based.
What an awesome store. Shit like this the only reason I can see for living in the US. So much awesome military surplus stuff. All we get here in Australia are sweaters, shirts and pants.
That's what you get when you have deregulated telecommunications. Here in Australia we don't have that problem, a mobile phone is a mobile phone, service & price is the same across the board per provider. It's up to the provider to set the charges, but they can't charge more because one phone is a 'feature phone' and one is a 'smartphone'. That's called profiteering when both use the same services.
This is why I laugh my arse off every time I read people talking about Android being more open than iOS.
You need to root/jailbreak BOTH OSs, the difference is that if you don't want to root/JB your device (you know, you bought a phone and want it to just work), iOS kicks the crap out of Android.
Having recently gone from an iPhone 4 to an HTC Desire S... well, I'm really thinking about going back to iOS due to how terrible HTC Android is. Tethering problems, network stack crashes, and general failures all over the place. If this is what "one of the best Android devices" (according to many reviews) is like, well, I don't want any of that horrible shit.
I know it's just the HTC Desire S rom, but I don't want to root the device, I don't want to fuck around with it. If I want to fuck around with an Android device, I'll buy one for that. My phone is my phone, if I screw it, I lose money.
Maybe RTFA if you are that interested. I seem to have been able to find all the information on how to set it up and even read through the wiki with the server setup required.
You must really fail at the Internet if you don't know how to click on a link...
Yeh, that's why a major bank I worked for a year ago was having trouble removing conficker from 2500 servers and over 20 000 termianls... such a different conficker to the one everyone else got.
The way I see it is that MS is trying to push toward an easy interface for creating apps, while still leaving "legacy" languages functioning. It's a good sign really, there's a lot on the wind about where iOS will be headed. While Apple may not be able to beat MS at raw market penetration, iOS has shown that you can decimate market leaders by simplifying application development, delivery and accessibility. Look at Nokia, at one stage they almost owned the mobile market, now they have lost almost all their market power.
If MS can pull this off by streamlining mobile, tablet & desktop development I am betting we'll see a final clash of the titans between Apple and MS. At the moment it's just a bit of a dance around each other, will be a great fight to watch.
I ran around barefoot with the other local kids at 6 years old. Nothing like running down to the lagoon for some swimming and fishing with the other kids.
These days you'd get done for neglect because you're not spending every moment supervising your kids.
To think that a law enforcement agency, and yes, that's all they are, can walk into a premises with a warrant for specific information and take most of your equipment goes against the whole idea of "freedom".
Unfortunately this is not the first time the FBI have done stuff like this, just watch Freedom Downtime (actually about Kevin Mitnick) and see what happened to Bernie. It's been happening for decades to people who haven anything to do with hackers, why not go after company equipment now rather than your dad's computer?
The only people who stop playing on servers with active (not "thin-skinned") administration are cheaters and lamers. Having run gaming servers for over 15 years, populations come from having a great environment to play in. Most hardcore players hate cheaters and don't want to be trolled by a 12 year old when playing their favourite game.
Someone getting kick/banned with a reason is usually followed by "lol" or "idiot" on most actively admined servers. I can't say I've ever seen someone emo fit and/or rage quit because someone got kicked for cheating, being a racist or trolling everyone else.

Not true that it's the "first time". There's already photovoltaic paint that can be printed or painted on:

This is just getting retarded, it's like watching a bunch of school kids bully each other then go to the teachers.
You can't prove much by "analysing binaries". It's a bullshit excuse to lynch someone who took all your prize money.
In the first golden age of space, that's what happened. Maybe we're about to see the second golden age of space?
One can only hope.
The summary should have really said "limited release" rather than beta...

Was there ever a doubt?
Did you come back just to show how much you don't like a site you don't read?
Wow, sad life.

Enjoy your small government and lack regulation.
It's not, looking at where the article is hosted, well, it's the ONLY post on a blog.
Seems like a bunch of FUD to me. It seems "Kasey Moffat" (I suspect an invented character) created both a blog & twitter account just to do this.
Alarm bells anyone?

Worked out well for the Vietnamese.
At least they were nice enough to use _some_ different money. Makes it look more real.
That is not how that phrase is meant to be used:

GL selling new works when no corporation will sell your stuff similar to what they've bougjht (sell).

True, but moving us die hards past XP was a big challenge. I use 7 now on my win box (for gaming).

mmmmm... slave gamer girl porn. Where can I get some?
so no different to when it was pay to play?
