Exactly... if you have 2 people working 60+ hour weeks then you really need to hire another person. Except that business doesnt want to hire more people because they're cheap bastards.

Despite all things pointing to the fact that overtime hours (more than 40 in a week or more than 8 in a day) contribute to reduced productivity. So those hours that people are getting paid 1.5x their pay are actually the hours they're usually least productive... If only the bean counters would realize that.

Also if they did that there might not be a huge unemployment issue.

Actually the logic involvedin 'find them both guilty' in this case is legitimate.

In Canada if a group of people say go rob a bank and one of them ends up shooting the rent-a-cop and killing him everyone can be charged with murder because they were all in on the original crime of robbing the bank.

Best way to avoid prosecution on some matter is to stay out of the reach of those who want you. Particularly if those crimes are minor or non-existant in the eyes of the public. Many people who arent of the MAFIAA persuasion believe he's the victim and that is hard to overcome even with the big media's propeganda machine.

After all if it wont fire people will just use it as a bludgeon to beat someone to death instead and it'll still be declared a gun crime so the gun control nuts can still have statistics on their side.

Also what happens if someone tries to shoot a midget? The gun might think of them as a kid, so a midget on a shooting rampage might do even more damage.

That said I think the Gun Owner map should come down. It just makes a convenient list of homes for criminals to target in order to steal firearms by making it known those people possess firearms in their home. This sort of information should remain private between the individual in question and law enforcement. There is a difference betwen information which should be public (IE. There are X legal gun owners in New York) vs stuff which should be private/confidential (IE. John Doe of 1234 Main Street Apt 12 has an AK-47, A Glock 9mm and a shotgun).
