You might have a point had the phones broken sales records online. But since the phones sold poorly online they are probably losing very little by not buying up what will be mostly unsold inventory.
The logic of they-deserved-it-so-its-justified-because-they-let-it-happen is a worn fallacy I'm tired of hearing.
I'd agree but for the fact that the people most repeating this fallacy are the same libertarian idiots who back these alternate currencies. I see it as just deserts.
So to what? The entire point is that the MacPro is not a laptop because it doesn't use a single piece of laptop components. That is the point in and of itself.
What good are server components when they aren't in a server chassis?
They are good for having many cores for the multi-threaded applications the MacPro is built for. I'm pretty sure server components perform exactly the same regardless of the chassis.
The Mac Pro is marketed as a "workstation", but it's basically a mid-range desktop.
LOL. Oh please do link me some of those "mid-range desktops" using Xeons, ECC memory and FirePro GPUs. I won't hold my breath, though.
People with the resources (if you get my drift) can conduct passive traffic analysis, and anonymously post the results, and even post them right here.
Oh I got your drift. You're the same as the people who proclaim from their basements how everyone else should uprise against the government. They, on the other hand, will do nothing but play armchair general.
Apparently I'm only pissing into the wind with the suggestion that we defend ourselves against domestic threats...
Yes, you are when you expect everyone else to do the work for you. Get off your fat ass and stop expecting others to do all the work. Then you might see some real change happen.
... after every level.
and they'd probably be called "misogynists" too, the players' actual genders be damned.
Women can be misogynists. Just like minorities can be racists.

More people responding seriously to sarcastic trollbait?
I can only hope this is some attempt at a double whoosh, but it seems more likely you're simply an idiot. The post was obviously being sarcastic.

Uber has always been a shitty company.
That would actually be the opposite. You're thinking states with at-will employment.
Unfortunately he seems far too literate for the job. Simply getting facts wrong is not enough to become a ./ editor.
No, the submission had it spelled correctly. Timmay is the one who introduced the typo.
And outside of a minuscule group of techno-hipsters, the general population couldn't give a shit less.
That should be amended to dual FirePro GPUs.
So?

The point is that the laptop uses laptop parts whereas the MacPro uses server and workstation parts.
the GPU aren't really "desktop", they are on custom boards a bit bigger than on laptops but smaller than on desktops.
Yes they are. FirePro GPUs are workstation graphics cards.
It's a desktop.
Now you're beating this to death and getting boring. Stop when you're ahead next time.
Hahaha. Nice parody. Should have spotted it earlier. Would chuckle again.
I'm the problem by telling him to actually do something rather than simply whining that others aren't doing enough?
He was clearly talking about computer hardware.
For the people in the government? Nothing.

How come we aren't don't doing more of that on government/corporate communications? I mean, turnabout is fair play, no?
I don't know. Why are you not doing more of that? Most people are not doing it because they don't want to be sent to prison.
Or you could read the summary and figure out one of the real reasons:
Another reason for the sparse use of robots is that buildings require a lot more maintenance than just window cleaning.
