i see a net-equipped TV, with a minimal ARM-based computer built-in, running a lightweight itunes; shows are bought and played entirely with the remote, which has a simple kb for searching for stuff and entering credit card info.

owners could then download shows straight to the tv, which has an upgradable hard drive/flash module

as an aside, the USA wouldn't be what it is today without keynes and ford, with a little help from fdr

and why are the traders who sold off their shares paying attention to unverified sources like ireport? well, probably because the trader next to them did; it's all got to a point of 'following the herd' rather than making decisions based on financial judgement.

if people want an OS that is 'just like they already know' then give them one. gnome and kde are both skinable, and can be setup to put the shortcuts/menus/etc. in the same place as XP

his intention was to stop the spread of 'viral' videos that refer to the killing, and possibly prejudicing the trial

the killing was allegedly gang-related, and gangs in nz have a habit of recording stuff (either at the time or later) and making videos glorifying some act, that they then post to youtube or wherever. if the judge issues a court order, they can wave that at google or whoever, and get the video taken down/blocked
