    If they really meant it, there would be no reason not to Public Domain it (except for it's value as an asset on the balance sheet, but MS can afford to lose that)

    Can't you see the obvious advantages of having a large cow-whale reserve. Japan is obviously going with the Dreadnoughtapproach in contrast to the PT Boat strategy, just with cowhales and sharks w/freakin' lasers.

    When regular people start needing/wanting over 4GB of RAM, they won't have much choice but to go 64-bit 640K should be enough for anybody.

    Lets hope Microsoft learns some lessons from the "Vista Capable" dilemma!! Let's not. Consumers have to have a limit to the abuse they are willing to take somewhere (probably hovering near infinity, but every little bit helps).
