    Unfortunately, there are more p2p protocols than just bittorrent. Fortunately, I don't think anything would be better suited. Maybe we'll see an integrated bittorrent downloader. And then we may see more torrent downloads available.

    When I say 80's is nice weather, I mean that everybody is wishing for it to get down that far. High 90's and triple digits are the norm. At least it is dry heat, usually.

    I honestly haven't seen a loss of power from Debian to Ubuntu. Power might not have been lost, but it certainly isn't getting any stronger. When WPA2's replacement comes out, I want it to be as easy as possible to set it up from the command line. The presence of Gentoo and Slackware help prevent unnecessary steps in the process.

    Whereas if you use the latest 'control panel' busybox to configure wireless, you've got your wireless... until the next shiney-thing distro comes along, and you have to learn a whole new set of buttons to press. There is no reason you can't turn nm-applet off and do things yourself.

    Crossbows can be quieter (if silencers are not available for the models of guns being used or are too expensive/difficult to obtain)

    I have held off on installing the Office 2007 compatibility pack for several months now, but after a week where half a dozen instances of Word 2007 docx files coming in, I figured it was time. Well, OOo does read OOXML files...
    Also, for those occasional ODF files just stick this on a flash drive.

    the only reason they would be chosen over a standard rifle would be to increase the suffering of the enemy which was not a valid reason under the agreement Non-metal parts make it more stealthy (not that that is a major concern for an army but maybe for a recon group)
