    Correct me if I'm wrong but, reverse engineering for compatibility purposes is legal. IIRC, that's why OOo is able to handle .doc.

    The complaint states that on November 8, 2007, at about 10:55 p.m., a green laser beam illuminated the cockpit of a Kern County Sheriff's Department helicopter Maybe the laser was refracted when passing through the windshield, so all they had to do was point it into the cockpit. No need to aim for the eyes. Also, there is no need to be directly beneath the chopper. You could be at an angle.

    Not to mention helicopters are expensive. Don't they cost about a million dollars a year just to maintain? A city can't afford to replace one every time someone decides to play a joke.

    How far can a star get from its home galaxy during it's lifetime? Especially one large enough to make a supernova: don't those have even shorter lifespans?
    Even if it could escape the galaxy, how would it get far enough to make it questionable about what galaxy it came from?

    Why not write an extension instead? That way those that would use it can and those who won't don't need to waste CPU cycles and memory on it.

    I would use it, but IIRC I can't make a simple cookie whitelist like I can in Firefox. It's either ask for every site or accept all.

    Most that work with browser issues on a daily basis considered IE6 dead and IE7 a spasm. That's a pretty long-lived spasm.
