If it's a private matter, why are we reading about it? It is now a public matter. If the school doesn't want to get a reputation for dishonesty itself, it should consider telling it's side rather than circling the wagons.
Perhaps the alarm system shouldn't annoy everyone who walks near the car, especially in a parking lot. I'm guessing the AYM probably wasn't a stranger to minor criminal charges, but from the car owner's perspective, it would have been better if the alarm system had just kept quiet unless someone actually messed with the car.
Attention Idiot, the hospital was NOT completely un-staffed. The correct handling would be for the remote doctor to arrange for another doctor or nurse to be physically present when the news was delivered (note, according to TFA, that is also hospital policy). Also, they should have waited for the patient's wife to be there.
I once saw the viper get a car destroyed. Someone, lat's call him Angry Young Man was walking through a parking lot when he passed within 3 feet of a car with the Viper installed. It started going into the car alarm version of the internet tough guy speech about how it was the Viper and you needed to step away from the car.
AYM, who was about to walk harmlessly by, turned and yelled "OH YEAH, WELL FUCK YOU!!!" He then began kicking the grille in, smashing the headlights, etc repeating "FUCK YOU" over and over. By the time I left he was working on the windshield.
On the other hand, a RAT was found on her laptop. That and otherwise we would have to believe that she was sophisticated enough at computer security to manage all that hacking, but not enough to know she shouldn't do it on her own laptop connected to the school's LAN.
If those what ifs are weighing on their minds, perhaps they shouldn't have expelled her. If they are really sure they're right, they should consider reporting the crimes to law enforcement a good way to make sure they don't get wrongly sued.
Says the AC who wants the accused to prove a negative.
What this tells us, unless you believe that the media would totally miss that law enforcement was notified, is that the university isn't THAT sure they have the right person.
I guess you missed the part about being unemployed and the proud owner of a five figure debt? Also, since the suit would be in the U.S., she would have to hire an American lawyer, from Canada, with no money.
It's easier to legislate DST for all than it is to find enough unicorns to do it on an individual basis.
Had the clock been on DST in the winter, you would at least have an hour at home before the sun set. Better than the noything you get by falling back.

Perhaps you might find hell to be enjoyable, but for most, if you are enjoying aspects of it, it's not hell.
I'm not sure hell is the right word for it. My friends and I enjoyed having an excuse to take a flashlight to school.
But laws can shift our reckoning of time such that we have the daylight when our schedules are more likely to allow us to enjoy it.
OH, you're the same AC. You need to have a talk with your meth dealer, he seems to have sold you a cheap substitute.
Incorrect, go read it again.
Then learn to speak with civility.

So, what should the doctor have done?
Gotten a nurse or even the hospital chaplain to accompany the bot when he delivered the bad news.
They could have had a nurse physically present when the robo-doc gave the news.

Give it a try. Find a lawyer in another country that will represent you for free using only the telephone.

Perhaps. Not sure how that works.
I had no idea Tufts was now the arbiter of public opinion. When did that happen?
Your logic was fuzzy, I dusted it off for you. You mad?
I provided several good reasons why the or not clause was meaningless.

Yes, I think it's fair to say SOMEBODY accessed the answers. But it is kinda important WHO did it.
I guess you missed the part about being unemployed and the proud owner of a five figure debt? Also, since the suit would be in the U.S., she would have to hire an American lawyer, from Canada, with no money.
And I'm pointing out that we cannot really read anything into her NOT filing suit. So, the or not part of your statement tells us nothing.
Currently, I don't expect to see any evidence. Neither can anyone here who wants to declare her guilty.
So you're saying if she floats she's a witch and we kill her, but if she drowns she's innocent?
