So. You have never run your own company. Correct? Because if you ever had you would realize you give your customers what they want. If you are good you give it to them 6 months before they know they want it. Seat belts were made mandatory long before their use was forced upon the people. So you had people paying more money for a thing they did not want and did not use. Car companies fought it. Of course they did. Their customers did not want it. When your customers want red you paint shit red. When they want performance you give it to them. When they want safety you become the safest. This is not voodoo magic wishing. It is business 101.

What I pointed out is that taking the safety equation of of the decision making process of picking a bank was a bad thing.

    Lots of use cases.

Using Google to recognize things around you and offer more info. Working on your oven door and Glass offers up the Ovens owners manual. Look at a restaurant and see overlays of menus and reviews. Get wiki pages on historical sights. Remind you of the name of that guy you met at that meeting last week. Information is king. Glass has the ability to quickly and seamlessly offer that information to me.

I for one want to see the stuff that I can not even imagine yet.

Are you mad bro? Because you are either stupid or currently not thinking straight.

Look at high end autos. Lane departure warnings, heads up displays, adaptive cruise control, cars that stop before you know there is an issue.

When people care about safety the car companies give it to them. Period. It just makes good business sense.

The best option going forward is this.

    Kill FDIC.

FDIC ensures that normal people do not have to pay attention to where they are putting their money. Safety of your money is not an issue, therefore does not come into the decision making process. When people do not care about the safety of their money they make decisions based on toasters and rates only. This encourages the banks to do what ever they need to to offer more free stuff. At the cost of safety. FDIC is what makes customers and subsequently the banks behave stupidly.

Just because you hate bankers (Most people do for good reason) is no reason to abandon reasoned thought.

If I own a company and I hire someone I can pay them as much as I want. If I pay them too much my company suffers. That is my problem. In the case of bankers, their salary comes from the profits of the banks and therefore is paid for by the people on the board. It is their choice. If you do not like the fact that taxpayers are bailing them out then take that up with your idiot, beholden senators and representatives. Tell those bastards you do not want to pay to bail out financial institutions. That you think automatic federal deposit insurance entourages people to not care where their money is.

But people are stupid so ... Fuck those bankers. They make too much money!

There are huge Corps that rely heavily on convoluted IP law to make a profit. More importantly Google would stand to profit greatly from IP laws that make sense. The problem with that is that Apple and Microsoft will pay through the nose to keep Google from getting that win. There is no amount of money Google can spend that Apple and Microsoft will not match and then some.

The people could stand up and demand the changes but it is hard to make the case to them that it effects them at all. People currently are very shallow thinkers for the most part and have no idea the costs associated with these bad laws and how much it really does affect there lives every single day.

The fact that you can not see the massive benefit that Google would receive with good IP law allows you to make stupid statements that imply that there stance against these bad laws are for image only. You can not make a statement like that and have any real grasp on the issues at hand.

So there you have it. A much longer post that points out directly how stupid you are instead of sarcastically stating how awesome you are so that those of us who can think can laugh at your expense. I have no hope that even now you can see your errors. So this is all really just a waste.
