    Technically reviewing it on your blog allows you to put up pictures from the movie without breaking copyright. I'm unsure exactly how legal it is to get access to the work in the first place.

    If you remember they couldn't get that person for murder so they charged her for some computer related crime related to breaking the myspace ToS.

    The parents probably had the money but didn't have the legal knowledge and I suppose they didn't want their daughter to have to go through the court since she was so stressed out.

    Shows how silly it is to sue someone with no assets, it seems in the specific case her parents agreed to pay the settlement though.

    She'd also lose all her liquid assets(if any) and she'd have a bad credit rating for the next 10 years. And 10k is the settlement, not the judgement.

    I've seen this leaked version of the movie and even though the special effects were rather gray :P I found it to be fairly decent, I think I might see it when it comes out just to see how the special effects turned out.

    Quotes in general are covered by fair use regardless of their newsworthyness. The problem with twitter is that the quote is likely to be the entire post since it's soo small.

    It's order of magnitudes easier to make sure noone is within a mile of a location for an undisclosed reason then it is to make sure noone is within a mile of where they're filming the new Mythbusters episode.

    No matter what location they chose, if they tell people in advance that they'll be there then it'll be impossible to secure.

    You have the order wrong.

    The shows popularity would have made people come too close so it wouldn't be possible to perform the explosion. They judged it safer for everyone if people didn't know about it.

    Well, the 100c boiling point and 0c freezing point is kinda what the Celsius scale is based on.

    However the boiling point of pure water at 1 atmosphere is 99.9839c so it's just almost 100c.

    Since you're mentally challenged I'll spell this out for you. The set of common cases is not infinite, especially since the creator of the algorithm gets to define "common".

    Did you flunk the part of automata where they explained that not all sets are infinite and there exist such a thing as a finite subset of an infinite set?

    Since everything in mathematics can be derived from the base definitions isn't everything bound to be rediscovered given enough time and effort?

    I know I've rediscovered tons of mathematics by accident since I needed it for something only to later discover someone else had already done it more formally a few hundred years ago.

    Actually, if you look closer at history you'll notice that most things were invented by several people around the same time but only one of them got credit. While the inventors were all above the norm, they weren't unique.
