Maybe the Corsair was born a hermaphrodite (in Gallifreyan terms). That would allow that without destroying what seems to be otherwise established continuity.
Nope. I use the onscreen ctrl and alt. Then again, I'm not trying to program on it and administrative tasks typically get scripted after the first time of having to go through a lot of typing. Command line recall is also pretty useful. Unfortunately, command line completion seems to have problems due to the above mentioned missing tab.
It would seem jarring because this weird contemporary idea that women can match men in a one-on-one physical confrontation is simply bullshit for all but a tiny section of women (of which a female Bond could possibly be a member. But not any of the actresses they'd cast for her) vs a relatively small section of men (so all Bond's enemies would have to be wimps basically).
Well, Bond has been Scottish before. In truth, in modern times, a black Bond might not be too out there. But I don't care either way. All this PC stuff gets kind of tiresome though.
Possibly. But is there any particular reason it has to be the same Gallifreyan? Do you really want to break what appears to be continuity and almost certainly alienate a large proportion of the viewers just for that? (Personally it wouldn't bother me but it doesn't bother me that it's not either and I'd rather have a Doctor on the screen than than a PC Doctor cancelled. It took long enough for it to come back last time.)
But it's been going on for a long time. It must have been at least 20 years ago that it was revealed that the US was spying on UK companies and vice versa and then they just exchanged data.
I guess somebody said "Yes, technically but for all intents and purposes, you may as well just spy on your own people". And the intelligence agencies said "Good point" and did so.
It makes me cry how many accounts I've had to register, confirm and forget just to add a comment to a forum I'll never read again (typically when I've been searching for the answer to a problem, found the answer elsewhere and want to share that answer with others who have not yet solved the problem).
If it were me, I wouldn't be making a press release on every terrorist I caught...
Remind me again, is the purpose simply to catch the maximum number of terrorists or perhaps it would be better to attempt to discourage them from attempting those attacks in the first place. Perhaps I should fix-that-for-you

Anyone really believe they're not coming back again?
Personally I think the whole "last of the Timelords" thing was a misstep. Too much un-mined material there.

Art should be personal. Government paying for it is a travesty.
Just to be clear, are you talking about just the current run or the whole series back to '63.
It might also be interesting if he spent the time discussing advances in contemporary technology and the implications of upcoming scientific research.
It just wouldn't be Doctor Who.

I watched episode 1. That was enough.
Thumbdrive? Drag & drop to the DVR.
I use ssh frequently without much of an issue. Vim too. It's not the best experience but it is tolerable.
The big issue I have is with screen. I can't seem to reliably send a tab (needed for a split console).

Just forward the damn packets and take my money.
Yes. But only by postcard.
Just that there's room for cuts (real cuts, not reductions in budget increases). Lots and lots of lovely cuts.
I'd literally take 10% less for that. I'd also take extra vacation days at a double pro-rata cut.

Also, because emails are completely impossible to process automatically and not as trivial as adding "*:|spambot.pl" to the aliases file.
I often need three stiff drinks just to be able to read the things.
Everyone should forward this to any politician they hear crying about the sequester.
And four years later, after he had failed to keep his promises, they voted for him again.

It was clearly a false-flag company.
They removed it. There is no duty of the police to do either.
