Language is one of the barriers that divides us as a people on this planet. Breaking that barrier down in the slightest gives hope that other differences can be overcome.
With language comes dialog and understanding... something truly lacking in the current state of things.
Warhammer Description... Buyer Beware

PAX 2007 In A Nutshell

I wouldn't trust an absolute lick of anything the Warhammer rep had to say. He represents Mythic, and anyone with even minimal experience in their previous titles knows their Sony-like disregard for the customer base. This is the same company that promised "player-controlled horse mounts within six weeks" (eventually came 3 years later in a paid expansion) and "slight tweaks to balance gameplay" (hack off 75% of the damage of a primary class type)
The Mythic flagship Dark Age of Camelot MMO is an immaculate blueprint how to fritter away mountains of good will and fan enthusiasm. The game went down in flames years before its time and now stagnates in a coma-like vegetative state. It's an epic tragedy of ham-handed design decisions, sledgehammer-like software "fixes" and ill-conceived "expansions".
It is ironic that they should be touting their Realm versus Realm element, when that was the most poorly designed and implemented feature of their current offering. For those unfamiliar with Mythic's idea of "Realm versus Realm"... I've seen some realms march out 100+ player swarms to dispatch another realm, who can only muster 10 to 12 players to defend. Mythic actually *encourages* these types of grossly unfair game mechanics.
Anyone who has this game on their radar... buyer beware, the history leading up to Warhammer is actually a train wreck.
And here I thought this article was going to be a cage match between Kirk, Picard, and Han Solo.
I am *so* disappointed.
And for the inevitable Spock vs. Chewbacca matchup, logic would suggest that it is best to let the Wookie win.
If you get past the blind Microsoft hating and Apple fanboy-ism, the Zune is a pretty descent MP3 player. Not the best, not earth-shattering, but not bad either. It's certainly not worth the torrential smear campaign and avalanche of negativity.
Last holiday season I went through and critiqued over a dozen MP3 players. I compared everything from features, battery life, cost, and size. After I crunched the numbers it was surprising to see that the Zune stood up on its own.
With the abysmal quality of connections/service, ridiculous pricing, and monopolistic behavior, I'd say the U.S. is undoubtedly first in the world with regards to broadband penetration.
Unfortunately, that's probably the wrong kind of penetration...
The moon is the answer for all our future resource-problems..
Why stop at the moon? I'm sure we could pull all of our resource needs out of Uranus.
Dam it!
Here here, Master of Orion/MoO2 were absolute gems of PC gaming in the 90s.

Wouldn't a Postini-Google merger actually be... Postle? I know when I get enough spam, I sure as hell want to go postal.
