Excuse me but I believe people that are much more comfortable thinking in abstract terms are being neglected enough as it is.

No I think you would do much better explaining them about stable, unstable sorts. And in which conditions they should be used.

Also teach them about the different paradigmes: functional, procedural and object oriented.

I was not talking about an aristocracy but rather an intellectual beacon that has earned it's respect and where people get their rational guidance from. Right now they get dictated what they should vote by the churches and the media. I don't think that is a very "idealistic" situation.

Often US citizens, that I speak with on the internets, apologize for their president. But it's not their president I fear, it's the dense 60% of the population that can hardly write.
It's time you people start forming an intellectual elite that has some leverage over this critical mass.

Well eventhough I think you are a big fat troll I do genuinly agree with you on that. And your point that Richard Stallman is not jesus and should be treated accordingly. But I think the colliding ambitions are not those of people who on one side wish to stimulate the economy and their own wealth(wich is okey) and on other side people who wish to smoke pot and pull wealthfare.

Main reason for existence of Open Source and "Free" software is because people appreciate the usage in "computerscience" and common usage. And that, to quote my favourite angry guy Lewis Black, stimulates the economy tooo.

I somehow can't help myself getting back to my early opinion from when I was a kid that the world's overpopulation can best be solved by exterminating a lot of people(yes I was evil). How about all dumb people. Can you imagine? That would be so great. I for one would have no problem doing low-level work as long as when I call like a customer care I'm like : "Hey man I have this problem and I think it's because of this." And in stead of getting some moron I get someone that is like: "Yo dude I am totally understanding what you are saying and I shall help you out." And then when I go and put on the television and watch the parliament debating issues they would be like: "Yo we have to do this because otherwise we are fucking up this earth." And the other parties go like: "Totally agree with you on that but we also need to stop doing this because it is not cost effective and actually stopping our species from evolving the right direction because it supports mainly those kinds of people and they are hopping each other like bunnies." Oops this wasn't the right article.
