It's sad but true. When businesses change their products, the best way to move the user base is to "encourage" them while keeping it voluntary. I say encourage because there really isn't that much of a choice. Its the same with vista, if you buy a new computer, odds are you're stuck with vista. EZ pass is my sworn enemy. I don't want to switch, but I hate when I hit a toll in the road and there are two exact change booths with huge lines, and ten ezpass lanes without any backup at all. Its just forcing people to accept new products.
Did anyone else really want the civilians to push the button only to find out that the joker lied and they were holding detonators to their own ship? End the movie with a nice ironic twist that would totally have fit in with the feeling of the movie.
I agree. I've always thought of the internet as a cache for my brain. If theres something I might need later, a stash a small index of how to find it again in my brains storage, then when I need it, I'm able to look it up. I feel as long as I realize I'm doing this, I can take advantage of it as a very effective algorithm. It also allows me to be knowledgeable on a much broader range of subjects as I only need to remember the barest of ideas in order to use them effectively.
Does this mean my walkman will hold 45,000 minutes of music? take that iPod!
Now all we need to do is grab an epaper display and set up a quick Marauders Map script, and then we can go anywhere we want at Hogwarts!
