You have no idea...
I have three kids under 6 years old (two of whom are twins). The last thing I'd ever do with a 6 month old is stick a screen or mind-numbing electronic gadget in front of them.
As many posted have said; direct human interaction is what you should be striving for. Or if you're both too knackered (I know, I've been there!), physical object that they can hold and touch are the best alternative.
Perhaps, put on some hiking boots, open the front door and head out for an adventure in the real world.
It'll give her a far better grounding in life than spending even more hours in front of a screen than she (probably) already does.
Seriously.
Hi,
Blogs, blogs, blogs... Terminally boring and pointless...
I defy anyone to sit and read any more that the introductory sentance of ANY of this type of online drivel and remain conscious!:-)
After the pet rock, I think the 'blog' deserves the title of the most pointless invention of the last 500 years!
Mike.
You're not the only one - I too use good old PSP 7.04.
After many years of Amiga graphics software - still remember those days fondly - I gave PSP 6 a try and then moved to 7.04. I tried PSP 8.x, but it was getting to look too much like PhotoShop - which I always found to be a bloated, whale of a program. So PSP 7.04 it is! I can do 80-90% of what PhotoShop can do and 110% of what I need.
Long live PSP 7.x!
And to all those harden PhotoShop users who're quaking in their booties at the thought of a redesigned GUI - just stick with your current version! Just because an app gets updated doesn't mean you NEED to upgrade, particularly if it does what you need it to!
Does GPL REALLY mean anything to the end user, apart from a click on the "I Agree" button during an install?
Maybe I'm the odd one out, or maybe I'm just stating the bloody obvious, but the license could say that I agree to serve up my firstborn to the dark-lord and I'd still click on "I Agree" just to get the app installed!
The amount of waffle and nit-picking over the wording and terms of GPL v3 has me somewhat at a loss...
Maybe I should actually try reading a license agreement sometime?
Sheesh, but why break the habit of a lifetime?
... he should be on trial for that name, before anything else!
... maybe it was the way they walked?

MagicWB comes to Linux - I've been waiting for this since I sold my Amiga 1200!
... at least it'll get the fatties up off their chairs and MAKE them do a bit more aerobic exercise, so it's not all bad...
So how do I sign up (to Anon, not Mastercard!) to lend my CPU cycles? Seriously!
No, but I'd probably die of boredom while reading it...
Welcome to the world... of the real. (IT industry, that is!)
Absolutely stunning stuff! Everyone with even the slightest interest in the Shuttle should watch this... Amazing...
... the logbooks will be online next year at the UK's National AAARRRchives!
Ha Ha!
Fruit & Twits - an unbeatable mixture...
Oh, and a big grim to the previous poster who talked about "Apple's CORE business", fnar, fnar!
Surely it'll be the environmentally friendly and oh-so trendy Evian...

I wonder how long it'll take for someone to swipe the Bart and Milhouse figures from above the front door? I bet they'd go for a packet on eBay! :-)
