I have been unemployed for 8 months without insurance and I do not blame anyone but myself. Stop being a leech on society and provide for yourself. I bet you believe that the government "owes" you a retirement also? If you do not save enough for your retirement, then you don't deserve to retire. The government does not owe you a retirement or social security. Start saving for your own damn retirement and give back your free obama phone.
The San Diego Unified School District is removing all ipad's, iphone's, mac computers and laptops from all school's and Administrative offices. We will be replacing the iphone's form Administration with Android phones, the Tablets with either Nexus 7 devices or Galaxy Tab's. The apple desktops and laptops will be replaced with Windows devices. My company expects to have this completed by summer 2013 so I am not suprised to read this story. My company does approximately 50% of our business replacing apple products with Android and Windows. Businesses are realizing that apple products are overpriced toys and upgrading to Android and Windows is the solution 99% of our projects end up going with.
I agree. I have been a lawyer for 34 years and the Judge will most likely set the jury decision aside or invalidate it. There is obvious jury tampering and jury steering happening here. I am no fan of Google but this is utter nonsense when you include prior art.
You are spot on. We have over 3000 employees and I just finished having my IT guys clear out any apple products including iphone's. If I see one on my network, I take it and throw it away.
I am at CES as we speak and motorola demo'd xoom and stated it will be avail march 1st. I called my verizon rep and they confirmed. No one will comment on price other than it will be less than ipad by a lot. $300??;)
Awesome job making your daughter the smartest girl in school for running linux. It does not make her "the oddball" it makes her the smartest for choosing linux and not paying the apple tax (apple is just a GUI ontop of linux anyway).

i bought one today but after a few hours, took it back. i see no reason or purpose for it. I have a droid, best phone/os combo ever. i have a win7 laptop that is faster than any mac laptop. all cost significantly less than apple products. it just doesnt do anything that my droid and laptop dont already do. why waste $800 for something that wont be used? windows tablets never caught on for same reason, they are not needed.

I work for a church and and need to implement a ticketing system and it would be nice to have hr, etc. use it also as you described.
