    Actually both the Dems and Repubs are very conservative (either politically, fiscally, or socially) to varying degrees. In the past there was a greater divergence in the way the parties practiced their core beliefs. But not now. Think of the parties as beer. One is Bud the other is Bud light. No much difference is there?

    An acquaintance once related to me how during a bus trip he saw some guy driving next to the bus with a laptop in the passenger seat, newspaper over the steering wheel, and a cell phone in his hand!

    Said he was glad to be on the bus and not another car!

    Then you're doing it wrong. I use a French press everyday and my coffee is HOT! But maybe you're letting it sit in the press which allows the coffee to cool faster and makes it bitter.

    Weird thing though. As the hot weather has me running the AC I'm getting better mileage. I have the numbers to prove it!

    Clearly, after I learned how to drive this car to get good mileage the only thing that would increase the mpg is running the AC. Weird, huh? I may be soon getting the 41 estimated mpg by next Summer.
