I don't feel like I was blaming it on Python, I was saying it was a design decision that I didn't agree with, but agreed, it is a far-fetched scenario.
Well, the issue I had was that I was writing software that runs off a liveCD, and that is not a feasible development environment all the time, so I did some development in a normal development environment, and testing and bugfixes on the liveCD. This means that if I wanted to configure the editor, I would have had to do it on every bootup of the liveCD, which I didn't feel was feasible. However, I still very much enjoy developing with Python, it was just frustrating the first few times when I wrote code with a different text editor and saw quite a few compile errors.
Well, the big issue I've run into with Python is when you are editing across multiple text editors, where some might use tabs, and some might use spaces. This seems to trip up Python where it wouldn't mess with a brace delimited language or something with an "end" syntax like Ruby.
I feel like powerful laptop speakers are not measured on the same scale as powerful normal speakers, meaning powerful laptop speakers would be mediocre to poor home theater speakers, especially with the noise generated.
Well that's not really fair to the left. There are loonies on both sides. That'd be like saying someone like Limbaugh is giving us "high-brow, thoughtful political discourse that the intellects from the __right__ are so famous for". Don't get me wrong, it was a terrible post, but don't judge the either side by a few morons.

They have to update their cache at some point.

Great trade. :-)
Bon Echo is the unbranded version of Firefox, for companies that want to ship something other than default firefox (like with extensions).

The latest nightlies are at 100 on Acid3, so, yeah.
Did they really link to a twitter post? Wow.
I thought it was funny. I modded you up. Oh wait...
What's the regex for "looks reasonable"?
$ showers
-bash: showers: command not found
Ok, let me try:
$ sudo showers
Password: hunter2
sudo: showers: command not found
Hey, what's this shower command you speak of? Also, my password shows up as stars to you guys, right?

My strategy is to lock up the very short passwords. Think about it, every site needs passwords. I'm going to be rich.
Adcock: Can I play the banjo anymore?
Dr. Zaius: Of course you can.
Adcock: Well I couldn't before!
it is sorta fun to make contact with old classmates and to laugh at ex-girlfriends who've really let themselves go.
But what if I never liked my old classmates and have no ex-girlfriends (yic)?
Then you fit right in on slashdot.
And I even put in "By allowing me to do this, you give explicit permission to decrypt and copy the movie for my personal consumption".
Still a free man.
I even put my address on it.
We know who you are, don't worry, it's coming.

Interesting, I'm always just going by what I see for abbreviations on like ESPN or something (both say USC there). Interesting it's just SC however.
University of South Carolina maybe? I agree USC Los Angeles is a strange working, but it is not the only USC.
vista microsoft problems: (0) 1,550,000
xp microsoft problems: (9,440) 11,900,000
See! Vista has less problems than XP, everyone should upgrade.

Here's hoping we'll see a developer's app that runs entirely on an iPhone / iPod Touch.
What would it do?
The iPhone app is already done, Midomi.

I would just delete all of the IP addresses. That would be a better example of anonymity.
And that's why Google is Google and you are sitting in your mother's basement posting to Slashdot.
