    Even google with their website is doing this. They have a new Gmail interface that has from compact to cozy to comfortable.

    Why not make it 20YY.x where x is major release that year. and YY would be current 2 digit year. they been pushing releases every 3 months about.

    i'm sure the maintainers of projects like ffmpeg (now libav) and x264 would be getting up there.

    libav is actually a fork of ffmpeg, not a rename. ffmpeg is still active.

    $10 yes but compared to various apps that replicate just part of it can cost as much. telnet, ssh, vnc and X11.

    I use it on my iPad. both the iPhone 4G and iPad support Bluetooth keyboards and keypads. Thinkgeek sells one for the iphone, the PS3 bluetooth keypad works with my iPad. So this is more a question of apps than the phones themselves.

    Goes by expressgate on Asus products boots in like 5 seconds and it dual boot linux and windows.

    I got a DIR-615. Works pretty well with dd-wrt. Got it on clearance for $22. Got the c1 rev, they had e1 too that were clearanced as well at the miejer store(think smaller chain of walmart)

    I was think similarly. A15 drive enclosure with built in power supply and with esata. Call it a drive brick :)

    Yes But the tuner allows for recording in digital and HiDef if they upgrade the TV for instance.

    I live in Champaign, Il. I've gotten 1.2 megabytes a second on cable. We have insight, soon to be comcast. though thay will cut you off for using to much upstream.

    And lets not forget that aqua can use opengl to speed things up and nvidia and only support osx on ppc.

    some companies have open sourced there games such as Id. also infocom interpreters are avialable. So Unless a company make a effort a either keeping it up to date with technology , releases code or has a cult following of fans that reverse engineers it, it will die
