    It's one of the big errors that scifi movies have with lasers in space combat (the other error being that laser pulses move slow enough to be seen).

    Hence why I tend to think of them as plasma bolts. It's just that 'laser' sounds cooler than 'plasma bolt'. That, and people are more familiar with lasers.

    Not for some time I'm afraid - the current monarchy family is the House of Windsor, which was originally part of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. So the current royals are in fact German in lineage :)

    Obviously :P Didn't know XNA (which can be used by any .NET language, not just C#) had been deprecated, but I think it'll be like Silverlight - nothing new, but alive nonetheless.

    Microsoft confirmed that it allows only publishers of disc games to offer download games.

    On Xbox One. That limitation doesn't apply to Xbox 360.

    That and most customers have no idea what Linux is. For that matter, they don't even know what Windows is, except for 'that thing shown when you turn the computer on'.

    Except that Apple doesn't have proprietary connectors.

    Name any smartphone that uses an iPhone connector, but isn't an iPhone. I won't wait though - still got another 50+ years on this planet, and I aim to use all of them.

    Yes, a plastic film, or a clear plastic cover will often foil the plate readers.

    No, they won't. They barely have an effect at all.
