    C# is completely different than Java. Know what you speak of.

    C# developer here, and yes, C# shares a lot of similarities with Java, being as they are both C-family languages. However, I do agree that C# is sufficiently different to make it, on balance, a better and more flexible all-round language than Java.

    There was also talk about GC games being available via download content, but that sounds like a hell of a download for a game.

    Not compared to some of the titles on XBox Live and PSN. Some of those run equivalent to 2 DVDs.

    Have Nintendo released the silicon's specs yet? I can't find anything about the chips, apart from the CPU being multi-core and 45nm.

    This is one aspect that Sony got right from day one - both the PS2 ans PS3 use standard PC/laptop hard drives (PATA 3.5" for PS2, SATA 2.5" for PS3).

    Europe had to wait months to get it, and then got a stripped down version with no back compatibility.

    My first PS3 was a launch-date model, with a 60GB HDD and backwards compatibility with PS1 and PS2. You can guess where I'm from by my username.
