    The US population is over 314 million people (source: census). The resources required to continually monitor all 314 million people make such an act impossible for purely practical purposes.

    Well, as an ex-Marine he's had better training in wreaking havoc

    I'm very afraid. But not of him. I'm afraid of people who will use ability as an argument or justification to trample first amendment rights.

    The guy was detained for psychological evaluation, which implies that there's a possible danger to others, but also to the guy himself. Also, based on some of the posts above, the content is still viewable by the public, so I don't see the breach in the First Amendment here. No-one's stopping him saying what he wants to say, they just want to make sure he's not going to do anything stupid.

    Screens are given in the diagonal yes, but screen size changes are given in viewing area, as that's the more relevant comparison.

    The console comes with features such as screens which are 90% bigger in size than the original 3DS

    while 95% of the games on the system are utter crap the other 5% is the stuff that defines the generation

    You could almost apply that unchanged to any console/handheld platform of the last 20 years.

    How is '90% larger' underhanded and deceptive? As far as I can tell, Nintendo say the screens are 90% bigger, and they're 90% bigger. It's about as deceptive as saying 'don't put your hand in the flame - it'll get burnt'.

    And you missed the one difference between hibernate and hybrid boot: the user session. Hibernation preserves the active sessions, and restores them on boot. Hybrid boot closes all sessions so new ones start on boot. No matter how you spin it, hybrid boot is *not* hibernation.

    True (and I know all that already), but it's not outlandish to think of WinPhone having a 'notification area' that you just can't see, and that's where the apps lie. I was trying to describe an analogue rather than a true equivalent.
