    Mazda RX-8
    Nissan 370Z
    Audi TT
    Alfa Romeo Brera
    Porsche Cayman
    Any convertible sports car

    I could go on.

    I never believe those claims.

    Posted this above already, but I legally own twice the DVDs I would otherwise because of torrenting.

    Torrent users also spend more on legal content than non-torrent users;

    Legal fees and settlements don't count.

    If it wasn't for torrenting, my (100% legit purchased) DVD collection would be half its current size.

    ~$250 a year per network (example: BBC)

    Use iPlayer, don't watch the live broadcast, et voila! BBC content for free, and 100% legit.

    Never understood this. Why crush the car? Why not sell it? Change the locks if necessary, but it's not like the car is being punished here.

    Symbolism. That, and the inability to get any value back from the car afterwards.

    Lambos and Ferraris are supercars, designed for people with more money than sense. Sports cars are usually taken to be about $20000-$60000, and usually have pretty good visibility all round.

    Update: Looks like I need to issue a retraction - GP was spot on. Looked at the drive of a 'shut down' Win8 install, and lo and behold, there was hiberfil.sys.

    The non-Metro client (almost) does that already - it makes a SkyDrive folder in your user folder.

    Is it too hard for Microsoft to expose their own service as a filesystem?

    The non-Metro SkyDrive client adds a SkyDrive folder to your user library. From there, it acts like any other folder.

    £10 MS replaces the Metro name with 'Tiles'. It's as imaginative as calling the OS itself 'Windows'.

    Then why does my Win8 laptop tell me it's shutting down when I shut it down? Maybe because it's shutting down? Otherwise it would say it's hibernating.

    No problem for me - I can't remember the last time I actually clicked on the Start button. I just hit the keyboard key instead.

    The fucking windows key ? I remove that key from all my keyboards so i wont get the start menu popping up during my gaming session!

    Take a look at a gaming keyboard - a number of them have a switch that disables the Windows keys. I know my Logitech does.
