The problem isn't that dumb people can't be programmers. The problem is the extent to which smart people can't be programmers if they want to have time for anything else. Really, how much of the complexity of the average coding task today is essential to the problem being solved, and how much is essentially having to know trivia about one platform or language (or version of either) versus another?
Wouldn't it be amusing if some joker, before launch, had sprinkled a handful of dirt into the analysis chambers? (And by "amusing", I mean in the "How close do you think I can steer this ocean liner to that iceberg?" sort of way.)
Or maybe the "How much more funding do you think us Martian soil scientists would get if there were something up there besides moon dust" sort of way.
I wonder if it was Freudian the way they used the word "exonerate", i.e. liberate from an accusation, instead of "eliminate"? Feeling guilty boys?
(For the record, I don't actually think anyone did anything.)
While preparing the incredibly helpful suggestion that the word "font" should be used here instead of fount, I learned they were both in the dictionary meaning fountain or source. And further, that "fount" also means a type font, at least to Brits.
The next time you try to use a small business web site to buy something, do yourself a favour and look at the page source.
If your details aren't being sent out over the intartubes unecrypted, and if you still want to make the "purchase" you might see a way to pay nothing, or bare minimum with a discount.
Also, the next time you see an old person, do yourself a favor and check out at how fragile and weak they are!
If it is dark or you are wearing a hoodie, and if you want to "earn" a few bucks, you just might think of a way to do that
Old people are stupid for carrying money when they have such feeble self-defense skills.
So what you are saying is that some people don't have maps?
Yes! The reason 1492 China people can not find the US on maps, I believe, is that many 1492 China people do not have maps, such as 1492-China-people-Americans, the Iraqis, the South Africans, such as.

Couldn't they try to popularize gaming among individuals for whom sexual partnership is not an immediate entertainment alternative?
Sometimes in business the most effective strategies are not the obvious ones!
That was my first reaction: that some Linux folks have a different idea of fun anyway. I can just imagine individuals deep down wishing they could play Bioshock from the command line. Who knows, they are putting versions of Spore on everything else... maybe they could make a matrix-like screen-full-of-numbers version for the Aspergers set to enjoy on their Linux "boxen".
Enough baiting, serious question (and I am sincerely uninformed): Could the community (or a company a la Google Android) standardize a Linux game console design and jumpstart something inexpensive, Free, fun, and ultimately good for the larger FOSS community?
"Sweden does have a military- current strength is 65,500 members."
I understand they would like to expand, but ever since their forces began computerized recordkeeping they inexplicably can't get over this 65,500 level.
Oops sorry. Honestly, I completely agree, and I would do the same. My thought was just that it is still a crime and not a false accusation, which seemed to be the earlier poster's claim.
Not to pick nits, but you were originally making a point about being incorrectly accused of committing a crime. Right or wrong, the level of force you applied to your attacker may have been criminal, if there is a law against it.
I have to say, I'm glad I'm not in your place being placed in threatening situations on a regular basis. Much more pleasant to consider these situations in the abstract.
Is there any reason these cars can't be adapted to burn or extract methane from the astronaut waste already being generated in the passenger compartment on long driving trips?

Just thought I'd share.

'Wow, the moderators must be really off today, I try for a +5 funny and end up with a -1 troll mod, whats next? A +5 insightful for this post?'
Or a +4 offtopic for this one? (I mean, lets give the mods at least little challenge en route to joke completion.)

We humans just assume our personal experiences apply to animals. Right? Guys?
